I know a lot of people these days who listen to music while gaming.

I personally listen to hard rock and metal:
Arterial Black-Drist
Symphony of Destruction-Megadeth
Ace of Spades-Motorhead
F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X-Fall of Troy

Delerium, duh.

But for that maniacal, berserker touch, can't go wrong with some Sonata Arctica or Juno Reactor.

Mona Lisa Overdrive!

Count Zero.

We've had five of these already, so don't be surprised if it gets locked. -Just a friendly headsup.

Well, I guess I'll post it all again.

Black Metal
Speed Metal
Thrash Metal
Whatever you would call Zakk Wild
80's Hair Metal

Gogol Bordello. Otherwise it depends on the game's atmosphere. I like to play music of my own that fits the game if the in-game music kinda sucks.

Iron Maiden, Rush, Ozzy Osbourne, classic rock, classical music. And video game remixes.

Well basically if it's good I'll listen to it while playing online. But if I'm offline i just listen to the background music of the game.

Is it just a coincidence that all those songs you listed are on a Guitar Hero game?

Gogol Bordello! Nice one! I love that band. I listen to them quite a lot while gaming too. I also listen to the Mad Capsule Markets, Slayer, Muse and Daft Punk quite often for gaming.

I love games and music waaaay too much to mix them up. To me, listening to my own music while playing a game is like watching TV on a date ;)

It depends on the game.

I usually listen to stuff like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater, but on games like RPGs I really listen to whatever's on my iPod.

Uh, nothing, never. I find that I play better without distractions, so no music while I'm playing a game.

I'd Listen to Breaking Benjamin on FPS's. Very great, considering it's rage-filled music.
