QFMFT.IMO, the best band ever, followed by Rush. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1249 Joined: 7 Mar 2008 | i think it depends on the situation and the game being played, tho i do tend to agree that metal can get good for killing and driving and by metal i mean anything that's not nu-metal, the real stuff like maiden, priest, slayer, gwar, basically any thing that makes you want to drink beer, beat up on your friends in the pit, fuck on the floor and say a big fuck you to the world tho i have found that playing hootie and the blowfish at loud volumes can be really distracting to other players and get them angry at you so they don't play as well and make mistakes |

Indeed. Any Keith Urban album before he turned outrageously mainsteam ('Blue Jeans'? WTF!?) can also be a great selection of generic grinding tunes. |

Sport: I can't play sport games for shite, probably because playing real sport kinda puts a damper on it. Shooters: Rage Against The Machine is brilliant, nothing like heavy bass for headshots or chainsawing down suckers in GoW. |

nails has gone downhill since the fragile, the year zero remixes are great but the year zero album sux compared to a lot of the older stuff listen to pretty hate machine or broken, he's become way too maistream and lost his edge |
Paperboy Posts: 19 Joined: 25 Mar 2008 | Hmm..the best killing-people music I've ever used has got to be Turkish March by Mozart. Works best with games like Hitman and Saints Row since there is alot of people to slay at any given time. |

Infamous Scribbler Posts: 533 Joined: 7 Mar 2008 | If I want to think, I put on Gatti. If I want to pwn some n00bs, I put on metal (bitch) If I want to think while killing people (i.e. Fire Emblem), I put on The Police. Wierd? Apologies to anyone confused by this comment. I'm not sure I understand myself. |
Beat Writer Posts: 168 Joined: 2 Feb 2008 | I dunno really... Only thing i listen to is metal so i aint that fussed RPG's i put on some Power metal. (Sonata Arctica and Blind Guardian/Demons and Wizards seem to do the trick) FPS's I put on Faster/Heavier stuff. (Strapping Young Lad, Hatebreed, Slayer, Dethklok or Amon Amarth seem to do it for that one) if not any of them its just Turisas and Fear Factory. xD |
