Agents are GO!

Elite Beat Agents, in my opinion, the best DS game on the market. For it's quirky humor, and fun (if a little difficult) gameplay.

And I demand a sequel from Nintendo. Now!

Excellent game, though I'm stuck on "Material Girl" in "Sweatin'" mode.

But yeah, I love EBA. It's the game that makes cheerleading manly.

So I guess you know that in Japan, they were actually Male Cheerleaders, not Secret Agents, right? Seriously. Only in Japan. Awesome (Cool game either way).

I'm still attempting to finish Jumpin' Jack Flash with the Elite Beat Divas.

I would go so far as to say that it is in fact one of the top ten greatest achievements in the history of human civilization. It is a life-altering experience. It is the bomb diggity.

You could always get the Japanese games, Osu Takatae Ouendan. Downside: they're in Japanese. Upside: no reading required.

Another upside: Ouendan is full of J-pop.
Another downside: Ouendan is full of J-pop.

Good point Razzle :) I got EBA too, and I even go as far to say that I liked their version of JJF better then the original, cause the speed is faster. Though, Im stuck with material girl on Sweatin', and I cant be bothered continuing now.

Maybe I should check this game out. How is it played? What makes it so good?

The basic story, such as it is, is that you're a group of uh... secret agent cheerleaders. You go around to people who are having everyday problems and dance your ass off to encourage them to succeed.

You play by hitting spots on the DS touch screen in time with the music, with a huge emphasis on precision of timing. It's horribly addictive, mainly because it's difficult and you really feel compelled to finish each song in that "just one more" kind of way that only ends because the red light on your DS goes on and you realise that you were supposed to go to bed two hours ago.

I'm afraid of Spin Markers. Seriously. Anything in any DS game that forces you to twirl your stylus around like mad, makes me fear I'd scratch my DS touch screen even more.

Also, here's some J-Pop from the Ouendan games. Awkward when you see it on youtube, but it's by far one of my fav songs in the series if you actually play it in-game:
