-If you die in a fight, then a small feather will help you out. However, if you die under any other circumstance, you're screwed.
-The key to attracting insane numbers of hot girls is to have stupid hair and be emo.
-Although you may be completely paralyzed and unable to take any actions whatsoever, it is still possible to consume a potion to cure yourself, provided someone is around to hand it to you.
-Fear the Tonberry.
-Monsters are unable to enter cities/towns.
-The world CAN in fact be saved by 4 White Mages.

I think that one applies to the real world...not just FF :p I cant see why myself...but most people who are emo and have stupid hair seem to be knee deep in girl.

Now watch a female character get a giant sword and screw that one up.

Wasn't Payne from x2 the big sword swinger?

Yeah but to be faIr someone had to have a big sword! It's Final Fantasy. Didn't Yuna and Rikku get big swords if they used Paine's sphere too?

No, using Paine's spere (warrior) gave you a piddly sword.

Using the Samurai job could give any of the girls a BFS that Cloud wouldn't have been ashamed of.

God is omnipresent.
Cid appears in every Final Fantasy Game.
Cid is FF's God.

Every Final Fantasy game involves killing a deity as your final task.
Cid is God.
The final boss of a FF game will be Cid (Probably FF 42).

hmm...I've criticized the plot, gameplay, characters.....since when are those not important?

Read the other half of my post. It was pretty short, it won't be a challenge.

and since when have I ever stated I was "cool" or "interesting." Annoyed definatly but when have I ever stated cool or interesting? And do you really want me to do a whole entire essay on the game? I bet once I do that you'd complain that I'm nitpicking no matter what points I bring up.

"the aiming in the DoC was horrible and every two steps was a cutscene while I'm in the middle of a jump trying not to get killed. Then when it comes to I missed the jump. It's more annoying than Aria in Megaman X series."
"so what? that's not important"

Yes that conversation DID happen.

My favorite FF game is the original first one.. Remake though :p
Reason for it being my favorite is because you can make your own OWN party <_<

This is what Final Fantasy I Remake on GBA has taught me:
If you are wearing a Red Hat, a red cape, red boots, you will be the only one targeted in every single encounter until you die.

Its perfectly acceptable to use your tent in the most hostile of places, and even if you're chasing after an enemy, they will wait until your team has a good night sleep before continuing

That fighting people on other motorbikes at high speed is totally bitching.

Giant birds are the coolest form of transport.

Electricity is made from souls........somehow :S

I think this says it all about FF knows what is important to the quest for saving the world (and breaking the monopoly of the electricity company, if they ever teamed up with the water works they'd be UNSTOPABLE!)

-Gun-shot wounds are usually non-lethal unless the person is shot unexpectedly, usually in a cut-scene.

-Barging into people's houses and looting any possible valuables is perfectly fine.

-Run, don't walk.

-Characters, typically, will reach toward their backs and pull weapons out of thin air.

-Party members and enemies typically line up in two neat rows to fight.

-Only 3 or 4 party members will fight at one time, regardless of party size.

I forgot to mention

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

They really shouldn't try to copy Fire Emblem's gameplay.
This game sucks.
Seriously, Marche can't be older than twelve.
The red/white haired girl has serious issues.

Apologies for a second post.

Muscle mass be damned! Even with arms like toothpicks, I can wield around a sword the size of a chaingun.

Technicolour ostriches are a highly efficient form of transport.

Bird feathers = instant resurrection.

Fan boys/girls = twatmouths.

Since zombies take damage from healings, a doctor is the best guy to have on your side at the zombie apocalypse.

Nearly everyone in the world is a fu-ducking twat.

Animals are invisible until they engage you, then they appear.

And awesome music starts playing.

And they stand in a row.

And so do you and your friends.

And you take turns hitting each other.

Apparently, complicated, nonsensical plots are the new good.

Things I learnt:

- You will instantly know if you travel with someone to save the world. Instantly.
- If they know more than 3 sentences, you'll either team up with them, kill them, or both.
- No matter how urgently you think you need to run after someone, you will need to waste time killing their peons over and over if you want even a slight chance of winning.

Things I learnt from OTHER RPGs (possibly inc. FF):

- Breaking and entering is fine if you can't be evil. If you can, then it's still OK if you want to be evil. (Suikoden, Wild Arms, KotOR)
- 'Meatbag' = Awesome (KotOR)
- You can turn armor invisible by wearing it. (Suikoden, Wild Arms)
- If one of the main evil guys disappeared before you needed to save the world, then no matter what you may think, you ARE that seemingly vanished evil person (KotOR)
- In order to save the world, you need to be in your pre-teens. If you're older, you're just there to help the little kiddies save it. (Suikoden)
- If your strategist has the last name 'Silverberg' or 'Merces', they'll be awesome. If they studied under someone with that last name, they will also be awesome. (Suikoden)

what i have learned from Final fantasies:
Inbreed of large land based birds can only lead to good things.

Theft, breaking and entering, man slaughter, and first degree murder is always forgiven eventually.

People leave large sums of gold in obvious places for no reason.

People can only say 2-3 things. after which their frontal lobe shuts down and they simply repeat the last thing they said.

people will talk to you regardless of how you dress.

All armor looks exactly like the armor you have on right now only the stats change.

No matter how fast your motorbike goes, you'll never need to wear a crash helmet (apparantly, Cloud's eyes repel gnats and other small insects). Also, whilst riding helmetless, your hair will never get messed up, even if you go cross-country at 100mph, whilst being shot at.

Dr.Cid from FFXII is 58 I think. Basch is over 30 and so is Fran. Thinking back it had lots of older people...hmnn.

Anyways.

The more annoying and femminen you are the more girls likes you.
Bad voice acting creates a huge fan base.
