US politics =/= world politics.
Mmm, it's like how any discussion of the dangers of nuclear power plants fails to mention the many many coal-industry-related deaths every year. |

Killing someone in a game won't make a kid a psycho, but it may trigger a psychosis is a child who already had problems. I suspect a great many of children who do commit videogame-related crimes were actually abused, and the parents managed to conceal it from the investigators. |

I agree totally with that as most kids blame the video game but really there was something deep in there brain willing to commit an atrocity already and anything can influence them to finally kill and decide to go on a massacre and that abused thing could be right, all of the reasons the kid could of done such an act is psychological |

Living in France won't make you a surrender or a fan of socialism.
Considering that for these cases, the same game played by a hundred of thousand other people won't generate psychos, it's rather obvious that part of the problem would mainly be about the subject. |

We hate France in the same way Americans hate Canadians and vice versa. You live next to someone different for a long time and it builds up. That being said, anyone apart from us touches France and we'll kill them. :) |

Wait..what? Americans don't hate Canadians, unless you count the tiny minority of extreme racists that live here. |

I think what is meant is that we don't "hate" each other. I'm Scottish and though there are friendly rivalries towards England it's only the bigots that actually really hate them. I'm sure this is what was meant with France as well. |

It's all a kind of sibling thing. We produce bland food. They eat horses. We drink beer. They drink wine..etc. British Papers make the National Enquirer look honest though. |

You do know the probably all English people are have French genes right? Absolutely no one can trace their ancestry to Anglo-Saxons who of course were the true English. I don't hate the French and I'm English. I don't subscribe to the lowbrow English tabloids who encourage hate with their stupid right wing views. |

Yep, my great-great-grandfather was French, and I have a Anglicised French surname. But then we all came from Africa originally. |

My dad has an argument he throws out about nuclear power whenever the panicky sort go on about how dangerous it is: "Hell, more people were killed at Chappaquiddick than Three Mile Island."
I shall update it for the Brits: "Hell, more people are killed at football matches than video games."
And yet you rarely see editorials commenting about how dangerous soccer--er . . . football matches are, and how they should be regulated and controlled. That's because people seem to innately understand in that context that IDIOTS cannot be controlled, and yet, with video games they can? LOGIC=FAIL
