Paperboy Posts: 45 Joined: 25 Mar 2008 | As of now, my fave is The World Ends With You. If you can master the offbeat battle system and tolerate the main character's selfish emo tendancies, you'll find a wonderfully odd little gem. (Oh, It also has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard in a game) |

Paperboy Posts: 25 Joined: 7 Feb 2008 | The world ends with you is a A+ quality game, they really put effort into the series. Advance wars: days of ruin is also an A+ quality game, spent time on that a lot Front Mission: First is the best Front Mission I've played in a long while (not really that hard, but...) But...I've logged 75 hours on this little game called Shiren the Wanderer. It may not be for everybody, but it's the BEST console roguelike (this is basically unanimous, as the rest are on PC) ever, with so much extra content after the main game is beaten. Yeah, this is my favorite by far. |

Trauma center is such a good game, but I have to agree that it's impossible. I got to a level where I had to do five operations in 10 minutes and just couldn't do it. The world ends with you is definetly on my "to do" list, looks great and its getting a lot of high scoring reviews. As for my favourite, It's either Final Fantasy III or Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Completed Castlevania several times, trying to get all the spells and weapons, but I'm currently stuck on hard mode. :( |

Hey, I enjoy that game, too. It's a pity about this series, though. Make no mistake, it still entertains me, but it's lost a bit of that hilarious and fresh "wow" factor it had when it first came out on the GBA. It's almost as if Nintendo uses it as a tech demo for every new console. With the release of Wii Fit, I should expect a WarioWare: Pressured! anytime now. Thanks for the World Ends With You opinions. I'll be getting either that or Mario Kart Wii today. |

YES. The soundtrack is fantastic, and I actually find Neku's reasons for disliking people rather believable, but he DOES change, instead of remaining that selfish and isolated. I'm still having problems mastering the two-screen system, and that's probably why I'm still struggling with that last boss. XD; Dialogue is top notch and everything is so stylized and awesome :D Also .. the Ace Attorney series! Good story, fun gameplay if you can deal with the penalty system and some other issues, but a good time. |

Copy Clerk Posts: 62 Joined: 8 May 2008 | uhh My vavorite currently is an older game Contact, it's fun the battle sytem I find is certainly odd but fun, and it's nice, it's different, cant say much for the story, not paying that much attention. But a gmae where I can cook up a refridgerator, and get bacon, can't be bad in my opinion. a close second would be Advance wars: DoR I love the series, but I suck at it. |

Beat Writer Posts: 181 Joined: 13 Dec 2007 | Pokemon Diamond but bear in mind 2 things. 1) I am first and foremost a Pokemon fanboy. I don't care how shit they are, I'll still end up loving them till they stop making them. 2) Bad choices in purchasing, I have actually played very few and most the ones I have don't sit right with me. I'm looking at both of you, Spectrobes and Theme Park. |

Anyway, Agents has a nice sense of humour and the gameplay reminds me of Parappa the Rapper. Whilst Starfox is plain addictive, once you get over not having any on rails levels to enjoy. |

Infamous Scribbler Posts: 666 Joined: 25 Jan 2008 | I'm very much looking forward to The World Ends With You, and Bangai-O! Spirits (anyone else keeping an eye on that one? It's been getting fantastic import reviews... http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=135028). Current fav is Pokemon Diamond. Ace game, don't care what anyone says. All time fav has got to be Advance Wars: Dual Strike though. It's more complex than Days Of Ruin and has near-infinite replay value. Doesn't get much better than that. |

It's the most successful handheld at the moment, so give me your thoughts. Like, now.
Just as a side-question: has anyone played The World Ends With You yet? Reviews are good, but I'd like to hear an Escapist opinion.
And my favourite? Elite Beat Agents. Without a doubt. But Mario Kart DS is also a strong contender.
