My girlfriend and I don't have to play the same game to play together. Even recently she has played a game on her computer while I played a console game or was on my laptop. When she and I move in together, I know there will be times where she snuggles up against me while playing a console game while I am playing on my laptop. That is much better than my ex-girlfriend, who sometimes gets petite Grand Mal seizures from flashing patterns, and as such could hardly play games...

Nope. I had to give up the right to trying to get people into gaming after I got my sister addicted to pokemon.

Im a girl and I have been playing games for years(I think the first game i played was on the supper Nintendo lol)...I actually introduced my Bf to video games lol.He had no clue about games like the Resident Evil series,Or first person shooters at all.He is very good now though probably a bigger gamer than me.

There are some very bad girl gamers though but i think the most annoying thing is trying to show someone who must have been stuck underground for years how to play a game..It's like giving a retarded chimp a hat and telling him to wear it..although telling a chimp to do something and having them do it would be quite a feat anyways...there are quite a few smart ones out there but I digress showing someone to play games that have bad hand eye coordination is also tiresome.

Yup, she is a bit of a gaming enthusiast herself (though not as much as most guys). So far we have played Rock Band together. It's not that bad explaining to your girlfriend on how to play the game. It's about the experience, not how well you do.

My only problem with playing video games with my girlfriend is that we share a console and I let her play as long as she wants. She's way ahead of me in GTA4 now. :(

The quest has begun... I will gather my staff of +5 lightning damage and some potions, and be on my way.

That does surprise me as it usually is guys more into games then girls. Nevertheless the fact you adore them more then kittens is a commendable thing indeed. Now if you enjoy slaughtering kittens (people) in whatever games allows it... there is nothing left to say. :P

Four words. I adore assassins creed. I haven't had that much fun since Ocarina of time. It just disappoints me how when you accumulate a pile of civilian innocent bodies that more guards don't come (to add to the pile, no less!) In fact, they generally avoid the area. :( one of my dreams in life is to eliminate an entire city one day...I think that would take a while.

The only game I've ever convinced my GF to play was Guitar Hero, and she gave up after one song when she failed miserably at it.

Well I'm a girl and me and my boyfriend like playing games a lot. We have game nights too, though usually I'm the only girl there:( We usually play COD4 or Halo together. Big FPS fans!

My girlfriend had a go at Mario Kart one time and ended up doing the 'driving the wrong way round the track thing'. She wasn't enjoying it, so I thought that would be the end of it.

Then I got the Wii. To start with I thought it was great. She enjoyed playing Wii Tennis (though it made her arms hurt for a while). Then she had several goes on Excite Truck (and going the wrong way tended to end up in her crashing, after which the game would automatically put her back in the right direction). Since then, however, she's kinda given up on playing it. It's a pity really....

Mobius and I have played Ace Combat 6 together, and even though he's a thousand times better then me in the open air, I'm pleased to say that in the crowded suburbs, I can usually dodge the boogies long enough to pull off a stunt that allows me to get behind him and take him out. Then he usually changes to an open aired dog fight, and I'm doomed.

And Kermi...THATS why you can't get a good gamer chick. You think we are ugly, fat, lazy and have no life outside the gaming world. Get over the selfcentered thoughts, and maybe, Just MAYBE, You'll be lucky.

My girlfriend is a huge pokemaniac and loves mario and tetris, so she's the extreme casual gamer from the 90s, if that's possible. I've been trying to get her to appreciate that, given the chance, I would leave her for Samus. ;P

Really? You remember taking me out in a city? I think you did it ONCE! I remember barreling down a city street nearing 1000 knots and pulling up as you slammed into a building you didn't see coming... Or was that when I ducked under the bridge at 1000 knots and you hit the water? I also remember shooting down your entire squadron before you could get three of my wingmen... i lost my xbox to zuma for a few months..... then i moved to germany and ever since then its been 1 long stream of manly games COD4 GOW DMC4 99 nights and other explosive stuff, my xbox has never been happier :p

Shame i had to break up with her over the move though, she could have taken popcaps balls away with how good she was :(

To True. I've got a Pic up of me from my '05 Senior Prom Night. Add longer hair,(About mid shoulder) and unfortionatly take off about ten pounds, and That's the current me. I'm working myself to the bone so to speak, but Life's good so I'm not going to complain.
