There's sex, violence and drugs. With the recent release of GTA 4 the controversy surrounding this game intrigued me. It features all 3 of the unholy trinity and yet is one of the most popular and enjoyable games I've played in recent months, if a bit frustrating.

It is often debated that games like GTA 4 teach the public the wrong morals and rewards them for doing essentially "evil" actions, prompting the player to perform those actions in real life.

Voice your opinions, do games like GTA 4 make you want to do these things in real life?

That brings up my project for my college course I finished at the start of the year... Are Video Games (and Movies) influencing violence in real life?

Amazingly, against what I thought, people that took my questionnaire said that Vidoe Games had some influence on them, one even said that it made him want to shoot random people in the street.... trouble was he was in my course too so naturally, like the big man I am.... I pissed in my underwear..... Anyhoo about 65% said no anyway.
I've never been affected by video games to submit to the Unholy Trinity, life has.

Sorry, but I'm too young for sex, I don't get out enough/ am not stupid enough for recreational drug use, and too scrawny to get away with violence...

In all seriousness though, no, videogames have not influenced me to want to do any of those things. I 'spose I'm not the type of person who does those things.

mmm not really. but thats the point. There are a lot of people who claim it does when people who actually play it know otherwise.

So this was more of a jab at people in the media.
