...System Shock 3 or X-Com 2? Which one would you prefer? Ahh life's full of tough choices ain't it.

SWAT 5.

X-Com was always too combat-light and strategy-heavy for me, and Shock 3 just won't be System Shock without the real System Shock team.

What would separate SWAT 5 from Rainbow Six Las Vegas 2?

If you're asking that question you've obviously not played one or either of those titles. SWAT 4 and Rainbow Six Las Vegas are pretty much different genres by this point, although the series started fairly similar way back.

Most likely it'll be X-Com. EA owns the rights to System Shock right now and with the entire EA trying to devour Take2 thing it's borderline impossible they'd be selling the System Shock name to Take2, and even less likely that they'd team up to work on it.

as long as EA doesn't pull that Take2 takeover off, we won't see a System Shock 3. Also, Irrational Games is now 2K Boston, if I'm not mistaken, although I also prefer to refer to Irrational Games, just is a better name for that company.
I don't know what exactly Irrational would have to do with X-Com 2, though. And I always though Terror from the Deep was X-Com 2, and a few other X-Com games already were released... perhaps I'm thinking of a different X-Com here?

Yeah FF was a good time. Although, I felt it was lacking in something intangible. I bet if they did do FF3, they'd get it totally right and it would kick ass.
