We've fought them all. Bosses who looked badass, but couldn't fight worth shit. A good example is Berial from DMC4. He was awesome looking, but very easy.

Everything in Bloodlines. Sure, if you're a toreador or ventrue or malk and went only for diplomacy, then you might have a few small problems. Maybe. If you had any combat skills it was a piece of cake, all of it.

i guess i'll say blaze from mortal kombat, he didn't look spectacular but this punching bag is such a glaring difference from previous mortal kombat bosses who would stop your ass and wear your colon around their ankle like a braclet that i have to list him.

the bi-beast in the recent hulk game was almost laughable while looking pretty cool and actually being a challange for the hulk in the comic in years past.

Pretty much all of the "bosses" on Army of Two, all of the Eve of Extinction bosses, and Jov Leonov and Marlena Kessler from Psi-Ops.

The Sorrow, in MGS3. He was pretty cool looking with the whole tear of blood thing, but, he never actually fights you. He makes you fight other spirits. I'm assuming that's 'cause he can't fight.

(potentially) The End in MGS3. He can be either the easiest of the hardest Boss battle of all time.

Thardus from Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime itself.

Thardus just rolled around so as long as you kept moving he was a piece of piss. Metroid Prime is actually quite challenging, but after the unrelenting nightmare that is fighting Ridley it feels like a walk over.

...I beat the end bosses of PS:T and NWN: HotU with words. Does that count?

Saren from mass effect he was semi-chalenging in his regular form, but after convincing him suicide's the way to go (or fight him if you didn't become captain virture, or an ass), his transformed mode was just a lesson in time-spongeology, because all you needed to do was chase him around with your shot gun firing off non-stop and it was over.

pretty much every boss from Legend of Mana for the PS1, and the final battle in Shadow of the Colossus was annoying, but to call it difficult would really be stretching the definition of the word.

Jack of Blades' final form in Fable: TLC. I guess if you didn't have that good of experience, he'd be hard, but that far into the game, I've pretty much got everything maxed out...A few hits, a few dodges, and he's dead.

Just thought of another. Shadow Ninja Rasetsu (Is that his name?) In Ninja Gaiden II. On anything other then the hardest setting, he's really easy. Just charge up 1 or 2 ulimate attacks, and voila! Instant win. He is, of course, the exception in this game, 'cause the other boss's are freakin hard.

The Monitor in halo 3

such an infamous character and anticipated kill couldn't have been more anticlimactic

A very good example would be DARKSIDE from Kingdom Hearts. He was the physical embodiment of a nightmare, with tentacles growing out of his head, and a look of pure badassness... Fighting him on the other hand was so piss easy that you could take a wireless controler go into a different room, and wear a blindfold, and still win without getting hit once.

Darth Nihilus, from TSL.

He is a Galactus copycat, who can devours ENTIRE worlds, and he's a pretty interesting character, but since you, the character, discovered Nihilus' weakness, he's so easy to beat up.

(I am one of the few people who actually like TSL, but this boss battle is one of its admittingly weaker parts.)

Ganondorf in Twilight Princess. All 4 forms
As Zelda: As long as you keep moving she can't hit you with anything, and the tennis bit is horribly easy compared to in OoT, plus it only does one heart of damage, which is piss.
As Ganon: This whole battle is a bunch of quicktime events. If you're adventurous you can use the bow instead, but it's only marginally more difficult. Again, piss damage.
On horseback: So pathetic. You run around on your horse keep running straight, and 3 sword swipes kills the weakling
Ganondorf: Again, weak. He LOOKS badass and his sword moves are impressive, but I got a bigger challenge out of fighting two iron knuckles without using mortal draw.

Hehe, well, he doesn't "look badass" - but Paxton Fetell in F.E.A.R. - well, he is the "antagonist" - but I don't know if "Boss" is a proper term.

For those who've played, you know what I'm talking about.

Also, Shodan in SS2 was extremely easy, you could kill her in under a minute. She was so terrifying and yet she could hardly hold her own.

I guess while I'm talking about System Shock,

in Bioshock was also easy.

Also, I always hated how the Bosses in Zelda take like, 3 hits and then boom, they are dead, boy, saving the world sure is pretty fucking effortless.

He's not a boss. I'm not going to say who is because it'll ruin it for anyone who hasn't played Bioshock but Andrew Ryan is not a boss.

Most of the bosses in Ninja Gaiden II were freakishly easy compared to Ninja Gaiden... of course, so is a root canal, but still...

And the beautiful thing about NG2, all the bosses that were SUPPOSED to be hard (the greater fiends for example)... so much harder you get EXTRA gamerpoints for killing them... were the easiest in the game...

It's always three, every goddamn time.
TP pissed me off the most. They could have doubled the HP AND damage of every single boss in that game, including Ganondorf, and I'd still beat it without fairies.

No kidding, I mean, you could use the fishing rod on Ganondorf and win..that isn't a joke, of course it's on his final form in that game, and you only use it to distract him, but, come on! Why do the citizens of Hyrule need my help? I beat the final boss with a damn fishing rod.

OoT had some challenging bosses, despite their "3 hit" limit, it was still pretty damn tough, like the Water Temple and Shadow Temple bosses.

The LoZ series could use a shot of steroids IMO. Maybe a new plot and "antagonist" too (hence why windwaker was kind of refreshing..kind of..).

I'd say every boss in Lost Odyssey, piece of shit game that it was.

Aries, from God of War. Ok, technically, he's actually really hard, but its due to cheapness, not skill, and that makes it an unremarkable fight for me.

Oh, and EVERY boss fight in the Halo series, except on Legendary mode. The only exception is the Prophet of Regret, and that's just 'cause he's really obnoxiously cheap.

Oh yeah, and in dead rising, if you've got the "tiny chainsaws" - every boss is piss easy. There's also a glitch on the last boss where if you stand in a certain spot you can summersault kick him to death.

Also, I remember when you are being chased by a fucking TANK, and you can destroy it with a .50 cal machine gun. Pfft...

I guess I must just be rubbish then - I'm experiencing this for the first time right now and the prime is ripping me a new arse and raping it.

I got past Meta-Ridley in three attempts.

As for my vote I'll go for that thing at the end of Dead or Alive 3 - that was a total firework;
Safe, pretty and dead in about two seconds.

I agree with just about every boss in TP. i didn't die once during the entire course of that game. Same for WW, except a lot of those bosses looked stupid too

Liquid Ocelot, the final fight basically amounts to "Press R1 to Win"

I have to say Ganondorf from Twlight Princess, despite being a certified badass, is awful in a fight. Waving the Wiimote around to basically dodge and spin attack him over and over? Not so challenging.

In Devil May Cry 4, the last final boss. No not Sanctus, the statute. I mean what the hell, PUNCH HIS ARMS??? That's it!?!? That's not a boss fight, hell that's not a fight at all. What's the point of even putting that in when the cinematics are going to do everything else. Seriously, that was the first time in my life I actually wanted a quick time event in that part so that I had more involvement in finishing him off, rather than punching his arms.

I'd have to agree with alot of the people talking about Legend of Zelda, most of the bosses have a puzzle you have to figure out to hurt them, and then you pretty much just have to do it three times to defeat them. That doesnt't mean all of them, just alot.

I'm surprised no one mentioned General Scales from "Starfox Adventures" yet. Ok, the game was pretty bad, but General Scales at least looked like you would get an awesome boss battle from him....and surprise! you don't get to fight him.
