No extra tags attached, it barely refers to the movie. Basic same setting as Pirates!, but with a decent plot, far more depth and realism, but less user friendliness and limited to the saily-saily and hacky-slashy-shooty gameplay types. |

No matter how much I'll dislike some dog of a title, someone out there will enjoy it... another reason I don't like scores in reviews, myself, as there's too much skew in those numbers due to the personal preferences of the reviewers. -- Steve |

Plus there are tons of characters, each with backstories. Many of them are even related between games. Also, if you liked games like Secret of Mana, but you prefer more adult humor and situations, give the original Tales of Phantasia on the SNES a try. The GBA-remake version is way more kid-friendly, IE: boring. |

I feel similarly about the two Bethesda games, they each had their qualities, although I kind of want to see a version of that AI that got me so amped for Oblivion in the first place. I'll give Shadowrun a try when I get back to the states, although I have to admit, I don't think I'd heard of it before. |

Seriously, it's bloody awesome and there's a lot of people playing it, despite it being an indie game. There's actually more playing Warsow than Quake 4, I believe. |

I was under the impression that I was the only one that had ever heard of or played this game. Seconded. |

I dunno, I dislike the lack of a safe function in actual warfare. If you liked Dungeon Keeper, you might like evil genius. |

I worship that game. I've heard of Evil Genius, but not really sure what it's about, I haven't heard much about it at all. If you like Resident Evil, you may like Another Code: Two Memories (or Trace Memory, on DS). It's like Resi 1 without the zombies... but give it a chance. The puzzle side is similar to what I love about Resident Evil, and very challenging. |

Word. And if I can bring another into the Shadowrun fold I can die happy. It truly is an incredible game that got dissed by reviewers and subsequently destroyed in the market. Best FPS on the 360 and first Vista-Xbox cross-platform game. Anyway, If you like I Wanna Be The Guy, you'll love suicide and death at an early age. (Seriously, is there a more frustrating game on the planet?) Definately if you like Ninja Gaiden on Master Ninja mode, you'll love I Wanna Be The Guy. I don't think anyone has said it yet, but: If you love BioShock, you'll love System Shock 2 :D |

In a constant quest to draw peoples attention to lesser known games I've come up with this:
Recommend a lower profile game based on it's similarities to a high profile one.
Give your reasons too.
For example;
If you like the Metroid series you should take a look at Scurge: Hive on the GBA or DS.
It features the same style of mapping that opens as you power up but plays from an isometric viewpoint. It looks great too (better on the GBA bizarrely).
Have at it.
