This forum post is to ask, if you had the ability to become 1 video game character? who would it be? why do you want to be him or her? And what would you do?

I would go on a epic journey and kill george bush as the final "Evil Pig"

I would be the guy you play in Oblivion. Because I would be magic and
could jump or fall like 10 meters effortlessly and without getting hurt.

And I would use this amazing jumping ability to jump off roofs onto oncoming passersby, then as they thought they were done, BAM! Shot with lightning out of my hand.

Plus, because she's a colony of Nanomachines, if im dis-satisfied with my appearance, i can shape shift.

I know this is going to sound a lot like a fanboy there but Cloud from FF7. He weilds a gigantic sword and unlike most characters he has lots of games so he has done a lot.

Serious Sam, cant get much cooler then that, what other character can single handedly save earth from aliens carrying lazors and old school cannons? (the duke perhaps, but Serious Sam is way more serious then him :P)

I wouldn't mind Kai from heavenly sword, at least near the beginning. Just cause she seems like one of those happy insane people, as opposed to me, who is both crazy and constantly depressed.

I'd also like to be the guy from inFamous. If you need to ask why, watch the trailer.

Being Link could have its perks too. Yeah, you have to risk your neck, and end up getting shot down by the princess, but you get to travel the world, all the while not wearing pants.

Thinking about it, there aren't many. I don't really fancy the idea of having to battle for my life against hordes of monsters, fighting someone else to the point of K.O. in a Tekken like scenario.

All the heroic characters, whilst appealing, have to do far too much physical exertion & dangerous stuff for my liking. Plus I don't like the idea of existing in a fantasy/medieval world without the perks of modern life.
I'd also have to rule out any driver in a racing game, I don't like driving too fast & would hate to crash, especially at racing speed.

It may be a cop-out, but I'd have to go with someone like Donald Love from GTA (he's rich & doesn't really get involved in much violence) or going out on a limb, I'd choose the storekeeper on the Normandy in Mass Effect.
All I would have to do is buy/sell stuff, experience the future, have lots of cool gadgets to play with and it's relatively safe. If I die it would have meant that Shepard & everyone else on the Normandy would have died too, which is unlikely. But I would get bored quickly with standing around in the cargo area of the Normandy all day long.

Lu Bu from Dynasty Warriors (not the new one though, hate his weapons). I doubt anyones more bad ass than him without having "powers".

Dante, son of Sparda. The coolest video game character ever in my opinion, he talks crap to his enemies, basically has no fear, and picks up chicks while fighting them at the same time. Either him or Ryu Hayabusa.

Tifa. Because she's really hot and cool, or vampire hunter girl from bloodlines. Same reason, but she can also take several magazines to the chest and keep running without a scratch. Or Samus, for the still the same reasons. Then I'd get a cool suit too.

Brotherhood - For obvious reasons of Badassery

Riou - The Suikoden world and backstory was rich and very addicting, a wonderful 20 hour gaming experience, and still my #1 favorite game of all time.

No, I'm almost positive that Master Chief is as white as snow, scarred up pretty bad, and ugly as a mother fucker. But hey, you got the tall part right!

Anyways, I'll have to say, being Ethan Thomas, from Condemned, would be amazing. Anyone that can be hobo and still manage to fight legions of monster things is a badass in my book.

Jack from Bioshock. He has a hand that shoots bees, and can beat the living crap out of a Big Daddy with just a wrench. A. Freaking. Wrench.

Still, I would like Altaïr. I mean, then I would have a hidden blade, I can jump from roof to roof and even if I give wedgies to three guards at once, I would still beat the crap out of the twenty other guards that are there :P . And you can throw knives.

Only downside I see is the fact that you would have to clean your suit every ten minutes... a white cloak gets dirty so quick in those dusty places like dessert cities.

And did I mention the hidden blade?

Hrm, I would like to be Link from Twilight Princess (Not the windwaker one, God no). Before you label me as a fanboy, here's why:

- Master Sword
- Double Clawshots
- Sweet tunics, hat
- Singlehandedly take down the greatest threat to the world
- Turn into a wolf (badass!)
- Not have a transvestite as a love interest (talkin' bout Shiek/Zelda)

I mean, I'd just go around Hyrule and kick much ass, hunt poes and whatnot.

I think Manny Calavera or one of the other characters from Grim Fandango. I'd give anything just to spend a lifetime in the land of the dead, hell i'd live in Rubacava and run a nightclub.
