I live in a very cold part of the world so the pyro helps me think warm thoughts...that and I probably have a mild form of pyromania...I like fire.

Pretty flames! (I should add now I am in fact mentally stable)

Also...air guitar and creating fireballs as taunts...I find it funny!

Scout: speed and double jump makes for good times.
Pyro: do I really need to say anything? It's goddamn fire!
Demoman: makes things go asplodin'.

My fav. classes and why I use them.
I play for fun, so wheter I do well or not is not an issue. I just play and take it as a bonus if I get a bunchload of kills.

The one I play most often consistently is the engineer, but I will also have long spells as the demoman {grenade jumping into the other teams spawn on 2fort (:} and the spy {backstabs ftw}.

Pyro is another favourite {easy kills =D } and headshots and taunts as sniper are fun - you can't argue with rocket jumping as a soldier either.

I only ever played medic for the achievement {360} and almost never play heavy and scout.

I like playing as all of them, generally choosing a class that my team is lacking at the time. I suck at all shooter games now that I don't play them religiously anymore. In TF2, my most-used class is Medic, and since that isn't an option, I'll just leave the poll blank.

Oh, and you cannot forget cross-map grenade jumping as a demoman on 2fort.

The best part of sniping is when it's you and one other sniper, going behign cover and coming out, trying to get him before you...

again, sorry about not being about to fit medic in there

I tend to play Soldier. By the time I got the game, Valve had already patched it so that, while yes, it is easier to jump into, it was not overpowered. Now though, I would say it's underpowered, as it takes more than two direct hits to take out a pyro without crits. But I digress. I also tend toward Pyro and Medic.

Lately I've been getting better with Sniper, but my preferred classes are often Spy and Medic. It also depends on the situation, because once I see that our base is being overrun I will most likely switch over to a Heavy or help a fellow Engie out with his Sentry guns and building.

No love on these boards for Heavy... nothing like sitting at the start of Dustbowl and mowing down dozens of enemies as they try to scrabble up the staircase. Heavy's got more offensive power at close range than everyone except Pyro, and even then, his longer range makes up for it easily. Benefits the most from the Medic, too, going up to a whopping 450HP.

Usually sniper. Mostly because he's the only one who's got a normal MG.

My internet is down though at the moment. Little off topic question by the way:
Is it possible that lighnting strikes my modem and only kills both my xbox and pc network adapters but leaves the modem and cables intact? It seems pretty unlikely, but I can't think of any other reason for it.

I play the demoman the most, but not by much. I play every class about the same, besides the scout, it's last by about 2 hours.

Soldier most of the time, but scouts and snipers are annoying.

Heavies when I feel bloodthirsty.

Spy when I get pissed at the snipers.

I hate Pyros, because they're generally the bane of my existence. I haven't played as one, though. Neither have I the medic.

And Engineers can camp all they damn well like, but my rocket-power will overcome. Killing Engies and snipers are a treat that should be savoured.

Yeah, check if your modem has shock resistance. Happened to me once.

Yeah, seems like it does. Too bad Xbox and PC don't. I just hope the Xbox warranty covers the damage. I only got the console two months ago.

I spend most of my time with the Spy, Sniper, and Demoman, but I think they are all fun. Those just happen to be the ones I am best at.

Usually the Engineer, you don't usually have to do much work, you can just set up a fully upgraded turret and a health dispenser, maybe a teleport if you get into real trouble and just sit there twiddling your thumbs.

i play mostly as a demoman, sometimes a spy, and occasionally a sniper (other classes if we are really lacking)

best kill was with a demoman, which was more or less the meet the demoman death :P

2nd best kill was with a sniper, playing 2fort, my friend ran across the bridge roof (as a scout) and killed the enemy snipers, i covered him. I saw a cloaked spy behind him (beginning to uncloak) my friend turned around, only too see his brains splat against a wall. It looked awesome.

edit: Floggin Molly Kick ass, especially live (shame i can't say the same for some of the support acts)

I simply can't settle on one class in that game so I just play all of the classes. Jack of all trades, master of none.

Pyro's probley not my best class but its deffintly the most satisfing. Creeping up behind people and setting them alight is just awesome. Plus, he/she has the Best Taunt Ever!

I admit I'm no expert , but I tend to play as whatever the team is low on, except for demoman or sniper because I'm bloody hopeless at them, lol.

I'm not much better at spy, but I've managed to really annoy the enemy engis, and I generally swap to spy when the other team decides they really need FOUR damn engineers on their team.

Just running around a tightly packed area full of sentries, dispensers etc, just going sapsapsapsapsapsap then running away....then back and going sapsapsapsap again... half the time I'll only destroy a couple of things, but I've managed to annoy them, lol.

I also tend to try to distract the enemy too, I figure if I can get 3 people trying to kill me, that's our team one down, and their team 3 down. Profit!

I'm sure as I play more, I'll learn more and get better, anyways.

My tip for achievements, to get the pyro's 'Kill someone with a taunt', get around the back in 2fort and do it behind a sniper :D

I have a favorite depending on what map I'm playing.

2fort: Spy
Dustbowl: Medic
Goldrush: Heavy
Orange_x3: Sniper
Lazytown: Demo

If their is too many of that particular class I'll go play something else, but I generally stick to the above.

I tend to stick to Sniper but I will play Medic if no one else is.

One of my mate always plays Heavy so I just use him as cover whilst healing him. It's a pretty effective combo. Right up until some fucking spy comes up behind me. God do I hate them.

Scout, just because its always a suicide mission. Spy/sniper tied for second. I tend to switch around alot depending on the situation my team is in.

I try to give all classes a fair try, but it hasn't happened yet. I used to use Soldier a lot, until it got boring because of how unbalanced he is. (no weakness except a small speed sacrifice) So I took up Pyro and has become my favorite because you have to ambush in order to get lots of kills. Of course, now with the Backburner he's become overpowered. (It might change as other class updates balance this out.)

Come to think of it, I'm starting to like the Engineer and the Spy, because of how creative you can get with your kills.
