I don't really mind the art direction. I understand why people have gripes with rainbows, but as far as I'm concerned, in the Diablo world, light probably still refracts through water vapour to make pretty optical effects. I mean, as far as brightness goes, you had a rainforest and a desert in the last one, I really don't think that this one looks any brighter/darker. My main, and really only, pet peeve is the fact that they don't seem to be going with the light radius again, which I always liked about Diablo. But it's their game, not mine. As long as the tons of cool loot, the visceral action of tearing through hordes of monsters with cool abilities and the pseudo-rpg feel stay, I'm sure I'll love it. |

i must agree the boss at the end of the video was awesome! with other games if you die its kinda like... *slap* you fall down. the end.
but the thing rubs it in by biting the guys head off. and i am so sad i paused it and took a close look to see its name, its called the siege-breaker assault beast ^^
anyway... the game engine is good, like when he makes the wall fall on the zombies and hopefully your pets wont be retarded like in D2...
the orbs dont look like a good idea, it will just mean you never have to run and hide for a bit, in D2 it was exiting because you escaped with 1 hp left in an epic fight and monsters were in hot pursuit and personally i liked the potions.
