They fascinated you in past years, but you've become disillusioned since. Which are they for you?

Anyone remember Croc: Legend of the Gobbos on PS1? It dazzled me as a kid, but I tried going back to it and was overwhelmed by the redundancy.

The Syphon Filter series has become very disenchanted for me. I used to love the first two games on the PS1, but now they just seem redundant and rather poorly done. Of course, they were smashing back in their time, but I just finished playing both and found myself feeling empty instead of nostalgic.

Halo 2-loved in 2005 hated 2006.
First pokemon game (red?)-Was I high back then?
All SNES and NES games except Super Mario 1 and 3- God the controls were broken back then.

Morrowind

i wanted to marry that game, but times have changed.

While i still think it represents god-like development in gaming, nowdays it just doesn't twist my metaphorical nipples as it once did.

Boot up an emulator, play Kirby Super Star, Contra, and Megaman X.

I have a SNES and NES emulators with all the games. (only 183 MB for the NES and 0.99GB for the SNES. Kirby-mario like platformer with power stealing powers. Got repetitive quickly.
Contra-Rather play the MANY other and better versions. Megaman-Oh dear god I hate that series

I've seen some crazy re-vamp mods for that game lately, maybe it's time to do a little surgery and liven it back up?

The Darkness. It's trully an awesome game worthy of a few awards. However after the third play through, the game is literally nothing but tedious.

Name any Resident Evil game other than 4. They don't age well at all. What really bothers me is that people constantly gave Tomb Raider (the first two are still pretty fun even today) crap about it's clunky controls but Resident Evil gets a pass. The things are nearly unplayable now.

Well yeah i could name quite a few resident evil games actually 5 if you count the one coming out( RE1, RE2, RE3, RE5, RE UC ) :P

But yeah i dunno i was like 8 at the time and i have the orginal i think super NES is what it came out on?

Used to love it and play it on family road trips all the time, picked it up and just couldn't get into it. Didn't feel like the same game I loved as a kid.

Awe man, I still play the living shit out of that game! I constantly 100% it twice a day. Trying to speed run it and what-not.... *cough*. When I have the time ofcourse.... God that game is sweet.

Crash Bandicoot-Its still okay but looking back it wasn't the "Bestest Game on Playstation" I used to think it was.

Pokemon (all). now its just so damn boring and frustrating. i hate random combat. your like, walking on the grass and a worm appears. a 2level worm chalanges my lv100 Raykuaza. shouldnt it back off?

The Final Fantasy games. I used to be so excited about the release of new titles in the series but now I hate most of them.

I'd have to say Civilisation 2. I downloaded it recently and found it wasn't nearly as enjoyable as I remembered, especially compared to more recent games.
