To be honest I think we give to much credit to individual game designers, isn't game design much more of a team effort? Look at Valve or Blizzard, they give credit to the entire team. |

As well take Chrono Trigger as a perfect example of a "Dream Team" at work, or any of the Tim Schafer games. Not ALL individual creators make a difference, but there are some out there who are notable in their talent. |

We'd have to morphine him a little, just to make sure he doesn't get too up himself. Lead designer- Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy, lots of other stuff). That man's stuff is just etheral. Lead writers- Alan Moore, Clive Barker (look, it's not his fault Jericho was shit) Music composer- Nobuo Uematsu. As if I have to explain. Chief Level Design- Jordan Mechner (Prince of Persia) Publisher- Anyone that isn't EA |

You'd need alot of Morphine, I think Itagaki's ego drinks it for breakfast. And Alan Moore would be like an enraged elephant the second you suggested he write anything that isn't a comic or novel. He might also flip out if you told him to tone down the kinky sex... |

Who says there can't be kinky sex? And I'm sure he'd love writing games. After all, games now are in exactly the same place comics were 20 years ago. They're hugely popular, but they're still perceived as throw away items, or toys for kids by the public at large. Don't worry, my team is going to be the one to produce the 'Citizen Kane'/'Watchmen' of videogames. It's all going to change... |

Sorry, he's booked for a project with my company :P (as far as i know, the following developers havn't made a game together) Though, i'd love to finaly Mix an actual game with Insomniac and Naughty Dog. Not just a little easter egg like having Ratchet be an unlockable driving in Jak X, I mean a whole game together. Those two have a great relationship together and to finaly make a game together would be discovering a brand new efficient and cheap alternative for gasoline. |

*sniff* Terry Pratchett has Alzheimer's... It'll never happen... Tim Schafer and Valve. It's my pick. Just think about the possibility of an FPS version of Psychonauts, where you explore the mind of GLaDOS! |

Imagine him hanging out with th JRPG heavyweights knocking ideas around. Or him and Tim Schafer. Imagine something new and insane like Psychonauts but with flawless gameplay and Nintendo polish? It would be the perfect game! |

Personally, I would love to see a collaboration from the following people...
A Classic Style JRPG developed by
Kazuyoshi Tsugawa (Scenario Writer: Skies of Arcadia, Suikoden V)
Masato Kato (Scenario Writer: Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears)
Yasumi Matsuno (Game Designer: Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII, Ogre Battle, Vagrant Story, FFTA 1+2 etc.)
Toshiro Tsuchida (Battle Director/Game Designer: Final Fantasy X, Front Mission 1-4)
Yuuji Horii (Game Designer: Dragon Quest 1-9, Chrono Trigger)
Something Done By...
Hideo Kojima (Designer: Metal Gear Series)
Bioware Design/Writing Team (Anything done by Bioware, duh)
Kojima's raw creativity tempered by the much more sane and applicable creativity of the Bioware guys.
And the most desired of all something... ANYTHING developed by...
Tim Schafer (Designer/Writer: Psychonauts, Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle yada yada yada)
Shigesato Itoi (Designer/Writer: Earthbound/Mother Series)
Does anyone else have any improbably, unorthodox or flat out AWESOME Game Building Dream Teams they would like to see?
