Finally! Nice to see someone else has had their eye on this ^_^ Soma Cruz seems to be new compared to the last trailer, and I mean, Crono, KOS-MOS, and Lion slicing things up. That's some hot MUGEN action right there... |

I was hoping more for people to list off the characters they would choose from each series. Unfortunately, my knowledge of fighting games is limited to SF, KOF and MK. I was rather hoping this would spark some discussion so I could see what other fighting games out there are worth getting into. |

Crap I forgot DOA and Mortal Kombat. Killer Instincts (although I think we can live without it) and KOF (same as Killer Instincts) |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 4753 Joined: 30 Jan 2008 | Can it be people who weren't in a fighting game? Cause then I'd make the Sony equivilant of Super Smash Bros. Tommy Vercetti, Kratos, Kryptosporidium 137, Dante, Nathan Hale, Axl Lowe, and Solid Snake using fucking guns (as opposed to using pussy explosives and a Cypher). (criteria used was if they were on a Sony console first. Yes, I'm aware that Snake was on the NES first. No, I don't think that counts, as that was a generic Mel Gibson, not Snake as we know and love him.) Then I'd throw in Scrooge McDuck from Kingdom Hearts, for the hell of it (anyone who thinks Scrooge can't fight has never seen the True Barks Scrooge. Taking on 35 drunk miners at once pretty much qualifies him. Hell, it qualifies him for anything, ever.) I don't think its that far outside the realms of reality, but I will point out that adding MS characters would make it impossible. A collaboration effort like this is just foolish. |

Ok, think like Capcom vs SNK, or Marvel vs Capcom. Now think broader. Think of Mortal Kombat. Think of DOA. Think of Guilty Gear. Think of... Arcana Heart?
So, let's say that you're designing the ultimate cross-over fighting game. The rules are as follows, in terms of the roster:
You're allowed no more than 7 characters from any given series, but you can incorporate as many series as you like. However, King of Fighters counts as one, so you cannot have separate sections for Fatal Fury AND Art of Fighting, say. However, Marvel can count as separate from Capcom, but Marvel characters MUST have already appeared in a previous game.
I'll also allow Street Fighter and Darkstalkers to be separate.
Ready?
Go!
Which characters would you include?
