The most recent, I guess, would probably be the nuke scene in CoD4. Awe inspiring, if way sombre.

The most recently played, since I'm grinding for the "7 billion by 7/7" thing, would be the landing of the Forward Unto Dawn in Halo 3... the pressure wave hits and blows all the battlefield debris before it, then this cliff of metal sweeps in overhead to hover over you, and then the lifts drop down with the tanks and Warthogs while infantry march out and form up into squads... epic.

When playing Burnout Paradise, i was speeding through a marked man event and one of the cars hit me off of a bridge, I flew down bounced off another enemy and landed , a barrel roll over, right where I was. I had to pause the game to get a tissue...

I've played the game, but could you put "spoiler alert" or something when you're about to give away a major twist to the games story? Figured that was elementary at this point, but apparently not.

As for me.. off the top of my head, any of the couple times I've managed to get two headshots with one bullet in counter-strike, particularly with the Scout.

Fair enough, done. I didn't even think about that - Figured that for a five year old game it wouldn't be needed. My bad.

Halo 3 matchmaking. Noscope whilst jumping then turn round another noscope. It doesn't get better than that. Would have recorded it if I didn't die the second after.

Discovering the identity of Overlord Zenon in Disgaea 2, and then starting a new cycle. It's all business as usual, until you realise why the summoning ritual in the opening chapter didn't work. That was a fantastic moment. The plot twists in that game were handled wonderfully.

Can't think of something that more people would recognise right now.

LOZ:PH. the last, last battle (how many times does he come back?), and the cutscene after.
I seem to remember one bit in a game, i forget which but here goes. I cleared my way through a bunch of mobs, just made it through with about 3 rounds of ammo left for the rifle I was holding. I _just_ make it out of the cave, I pick up and fill my rifle ammunition, fill my health/armor bars and start to walk towards the edge of a cliff, where my instructor has said the chopper will pick me up. I get there, and the sun sets over the cliff *cue aww "innit pretty" moment*. Then, an enemy ship/dragon/something flying rises up over the top of the cliff-edge, and I immediatly unload all of my ammunition into this thing, and it goes down. I get a mission fail, it turns out that that was my ride, it had been jacked from the enemy :/ shows what happens when you are so wrapped up in scenery that you stop listening :)

SPOILER ALERTS!!!

The plot twist in KOTOR.

And the 'Would you Kindly?' Reveal in Bishock. I was absolutely stunned when I saw that....too bad the ending didn't quite catch that feel.

Right at the very end of Mass Effect when you think you're character doesn't survive the explosion.

Most of the scripted fights in the DMC series are awesome (especially any Dante Vergil Fights).

When (SPOILER) Muramasa proceeds to kill several Ninja's in a few slashes in Ninja Gaiden II. (END SPOILER).

Many others I'm not going to bother going into.

GIGANTIC SPOILER

Hey, runtheplacered. Can you please edit your post as Ploppy as done, your post still displays the spoiler. I haven't played KOTOR yet and you've ruined the twist for me. Please can you change your post so it doesn't spoil other people's experience of the game?

Playing AC6 and watching a poor squadren of enemies perish after pressing "All attack" for all Allied planes and watching in Awe as the many MANY missles flew obliterating the enemy.

Also in AC6 the mission against the Massive Command Cruiser and co-op part 2 where you assault the second fleet(so many damn bullets and flak it's almost beautiful)

Another time i was playing World in conflict in a private server with 3 friends. We got bots to spawn only arty and destroyed them with our copters. So we got enough for a triple nuke each and launched at an island in liberty. I have a SS of the missles as one flies right above my screen then the all detonate with 9 gigantic mushroom clouds rising.
