Some can even teach you how to fly, but none can prepare you for the physical and mental exertion of the things you do in those games. |

They can only help with reflexes, hand-eye co-ordination, and a small amount of tactics. Everything else; accuracy, recoil, loading, the extreme physical and mental stresses of both training and actual combat can in no way ever be simulated by current video games. |

But prepared for the likes of special forces of any kind? Let alone the regular armed forces? No. No way in hell. It's absurd to even feed the notion of being able to join the SAS just because you completed COD4 on the hardest setting, or that you can be a world class rally driver because you've completed a Colin McRae game. Do you really think you could effectively breach and clear a room after playing Rainbow Six? (the list goes on, i'll stop) |

"Video games train people to kill! A gamer himself admitted it! Pac Man Will turn your kids into murderers arr rarr rarr rarr!". |
