Now I couldn't figure out how to kill the damned boss at the end of Southpark for the 64, he would always go and recharge after I gave him a significant enough beating, sure he couldn't hit me but I think my cartridge had a glitch and the bastard kept healing himself before I could kill him. |

Wait for him to do the "here's my hand, jump on it and I'll give you a lift so you can shoot at my head" attack. Just stand on the edge of one of his hands. The lightning he shoots from his hands won't hit you, and you'll be out of range of the lightning and fire he shoots from his mouth. You can just stand there and fire charged shots. That is, until he decides to use his "here's my hand, jump on it and I'll give you a lift so you can shoot at my head" attack again, except with his other hand. If you're lucky enough, you can take off a good chunk of his lifebar before having to jump off his hand. |

Take a full set of heavy armour, enchant it to reflect damage with Grand soul gems, stand in a corner and block, healing yourself every so often. You know the Gatekeeper in the Shivering Isles expansion? Killed him without swinging my sword once. |

i always went with vanish and doom, but same thing. really made the game pretty easy. and it was too tempting not to do it. |

I did the same, but with a rocket launcher. |

Lol, the point of the fight wasn't so much as to beat him, but to reflect on the previous games and events. |

Yes, When fighting salazar, fluke that the rocket hit him in the right spot in the first 30sec and therefore skipped a long hard boss fight. |

If you don't already have the money, sell everything that is unnecessary and buy a damned RPG. Kills him in one hit and was the only way I could beat him. Remember only in professional mode. He's cake on normal. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1868 Joined: 14 Sep 2007 | FFVIII. There's this part where you have to fight a demon thing which is nigh on impossible to beat. Just wait until that dame with the nunchuks get her Limit Break, and keep cycling through until you reach The End, which will instantly kill the guy. Come to think of it, having Selphie in your party allows you to avoid every battle in the game... |

I'll try that one. |

In that case, it's the worst Boss Fight ever. |

You're not just invisible, but people don't even feel you stabbing them in the back. They put it down to drinking too much ale or rats! |

AND, every counter with the hidden blade is automaticly a kill. |

Agreed, that's the most ridiculous part of the whole game, you can even hold a torch in your hand and they won't see you. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1182 Joined: 11 Jun 2008 | Zelda: Ocarina of Time i was hammered on Jack Daniels and didn't have enough arrows. i joked that i was going to just hit gannon in the cock with the sledge hammer until he died, at which point i discovered you could roll through his legs to reach his tail with the hammer, stunning him for the sword hit. this crotch roll method is probably the fastest and easiest way to beat him. |

yes, you can. just press the button once to pop the blade out. the next button press will execute the counter with the blade. the blade only stays out for a limited amount of time, so you have to keep popping it out in anticipation for the counter. the timing for the hidden blade counter is very very narrow, being the most difficult weapon to counter with. the hidden blade counters also happen to be the most brutal and like another poster said, it's the easiest way to beat the end boss. |

I ran up to tanks with the power drill and drilled the tracks until they exploded. |

Actually, the point is to show you that war never changes, in the end, its just two old men beating the shit out of each other - it proves nothing. I thought it was a really good fight in that sense |

Yes you can, it's just a little harder than with the other weapons.
