This is like asking what everyone's favorite song is but limiting them to a small pool of songs outside of the vast world of music.

Not necessarily. The song in Guitar Hero that you enjoy listening to the most might not be the same song that you enjoy playing the most.

Anyway, I would have to go with More Than a Feeling by Boston.

KNIGHTS OF CYDONIA!

I'm sorry, I just love Muse more than I love my own mother. And the song is riff-tastic.

"Cliff's of Dover" by Eric Johson. It was (and is) one of my favorite songs ever, and to play it (even a cover) was great.

Knights of Cydonia is good and so is Cliffs of dover, but my favourite GH/RB song is dead easy and is Here it Goes again by OK GO on Rock Band

I might think that Impulse by endless sporadic might be my favorite song, and a close second might be The Metal by tenacious D.

Ah yeah forgot about Impulse. If anyone cares to know a cool fact, I learned about that song when my room mate informed me that his friends band had a song in GH3 because they worked for Neversoft. And it turns out that his friend is in An Endless Sporatic. So yeah I thought that was pretty cool.
