You might be interested to know that it can support Spore. |

Very rarely is the port over done so well, as to make the game feel like it belongs there. More often then not, it fails at the gimmick so badly, that it's just a constant reminded that the game never belonged there in the first place. Like the Tiger Wood's golfing game that came out shortly after the Wii was released. It promised to be motion sensitive, and it was to a point. But then after that point it was terrible at being motion sensitive and made the game unplayable. That's not to say Dead Rising can't do it, won't do it, or will fail terribly as well, but that it should be reminded that the gimmick is why many people bought the system and they should do their best to work with that. But by all means try. I want to play Dead Rising enough to make me consider buying the 360. So if I can get it on my Wii, with some fun stick waggling, then I would surely enjoy that much more. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 3962 Joined: 30 Jan 2008 | Its rather a moot point, but does anyone have any idea if it'll be coming to the ps3? My Wii has much more limmited space, and I don't want to fill it if I can get the same added to my Ps3's hard Drive |

Bah, that would suck. Surely they'll do something tricky with the Wiimote controls then cos otherwise it will just be a gimped version of the 360 game (which I lurved). |

The Wii has notoriously squirrely controls. This is not a good combination. It does have the potential to be cool (maybe even Steve McQueen cool, PurpleRain) if the Wii can iron out its issues with registering proper input, but potential is a long way from a final product. |
Muckraker Posts: 323 Joined: 20 Jun 2008 | Dead Rising was the shit when i first played it. Now its just criminally boring but a good way to pass the time. I can't even be bothered unlocking the rest of the stuff because after you get the real mega man blaster everything else is pointless. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1792 Joined: 20 Dec 2007 | Cool, I hope the game will have all those bugs and glitches that are plaguing the game fixed. Hell the game's mechanics in general need a rehaul, I can't ****ing crouch for God's sake. Still, this was unexpected, especially this late. Makes me wonder if we'll be getting a (highly moddable) PC version. |

Muckraker Posts: 231 Joined: 16 Jul 2008 | If this game ends up Wiimotable then you can guarentee it will have the same issues as Manhunt 2 did with its Wii version. In over words, over-protective parents who fail to see that its buying the 12 year old kid the 18+ (R) rated game in the first damn place which causes trouble. And comedy zombie violence is the same as other violence I swear it! |

Although...with the Wii's motion controls, moves like disembowel would be kind of fun. |

Spore is intended to work on pretty much everything that has buttons on it. Hence why it looks like crap compared to other games available for medium to high end systems. |

I agree, this does seem a little suspicious. But still, I'm sure the Wii would probably implode with that many zombies on-screen at once. It's not exactly a powerhouse when it comes to hardware..... And Dead Rising had such a HUGE learning curb. I'm the only one of my friends who has actually played it to completion, mostly because I love zombie fiction and there were just so many hilarious ways to destroy the undead. |
Anonymous Source Posts: 7 Joined: 18 Jul 2008 | Eh. I won't consider trading in my ps2 and ds just to pawn enough money to get a wii for this game, but still. I think it would be fun to pull of the disembowel move with the wii mote. Expecially if your asshole friend who gimps all of your specials in brawl is standing right in front of your fist when you do it. XP RELAX SUBMIT OBEY |

Paperboy Posts: 42 Joined: 29 May 2008 | I dont really see them making a sequel, first off the shopping mall was screwed up so much nothing will ever happen there again and unless the its a new main character then you would think he is stupid to find another zombie infested location |

Hmm. I really liked Dead Rising-- never got around to finish it 'cause I got stuck on some hella impossible escourt quest or something. I might consider checking it out for the Wii, assuming there's some new stuff thrown in.
