Well that kind of makes sense, I mean, not all pornography is frowned upon, so if you vaguely say "I watch porn" then no one will press the subject because what they don't know won't hurt them - and will just assume that you like to watch "regular ol' non-****ed up porno".

My girlfriend found some porn I had on my PC once, we had some of the hotest sex in the following weeks. You'll be surprised at how a lot of girls react to porn (the first thing she said when she found the stash was "why didn't you tell me this before, don't you want to watch some with me?). You may even have googled it (God save your shrivelled soul) but if anyone walks in on you fapping to it, you can say good bye to any relationship and hello to the sort of social pariah status that makes pederasts look like pillars of the community.
