No, that's you apparently. I said the thread's not about me. Stop posting about me. I also said if you don't like the topic, let it die. And yet you're still here. Go flame someone else. |

I don't care how fun a game is to play with your freinds and neither do a lot of people, and developers shouldn't tack something one a game just because the fans want it. Look at Half-life2, Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay, and Oblivion, all exellent games and none of them needed multiplayer. |

But for good Solo games All of these are excellent games that are solo-oriented and I enjoyed all of them There's probably more but those are ones that I actually own. But I do understand your position, I play on live but while multi-player can be great it should be taking a backseat to the single-player portion, rather than the current state of things, where the campaign is little more than an extended tutorial. |

Well, as far as I know... It seems that the only problem you have is with Microsoft, so why did you feel the need to lump in the PSN and Wii players?? Theirs is freeeee |

I have Live, or rather, I had Live thanks to the free trial membership I got with GTA IV, and even so I don't think there's much too it. I liked playing COD4 online but I play the singleplayer more often. And I don't know about you, but I hear Bioshock, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and singleplayer aspects to Metal Gear Solid mentioned more often than Frontlines: fuel of war, and Enemy Territory: Quake wars. Now I know about Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike but those are PC games...no Live required, no need to sit though that 30 minute long registration process(I faked all my details, except the e-mail). Live really isn't that expensive to begin with, and the accessories come with the console if you got the pro or elite version, but I don't plan on upgrading my silver membership anytime soon. Edit: Shadow Tyrant, you mentioned you only use wireless internet connections. You CAN connect to live via Wi-Fi without buying the wireless network adapter; I've done it. You just need an Ethernet cable and a wireless Windows based PC. It's pretty technical, but Microsoft has directions for it on their Xbox website. |

However for those of us listing games that are single-player oriented, we mean to show you that the industry is not focusing solely on multiplayer, and that there are great single-player games out there. We are not composing lists of games for you to play, it seems you have already done that, we are trying to prove that there are more than just a couple of single-player based games out there. It's not about you. |

Conflict is the spice of life (try watching a movie without it, boring).
