In one fell swoop you've just taken my interest level from sub-catatonic to highly motivated. |

Glad to hear. Try and get your hands of fallout 2, great game. You can actually talk the last boss to death. how much does that tell you about its choice? |

I mean, you can be a slaver, gangster, pimp, hero, mutant, religious fanatic, etc. All in the same game. With a ton of interesting characters, each with their own abilities. |

But after watching the gameplay videos from E3 I'm really not that exited about it anymore. The idea of pausing the action and picking various parts of enemies' bodies to shoot based on the percentage of hitting really doesn't appeal to me. Also, I've since played Oblivion, and come to the comclusion that it's a bag of piss. So I fall into the "Fallout will never work as an FPS" camp that most hardcore fans of the series seem to belong in (despite having never even heard of the seies until this one was announced. I'll have to track down copies of the first two. They sound good.) |

I would suggest getting yourself a copy of Fallout Collection - I recently replayed both Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 and they've both held up remarkably well. |
Am i like the only one who hasnt played fallout. I wasnt really impressed buy it at E3. So what makes its so popular. Can anyone fill Me in? What makes it great?
