Yet we only know him as "the black guy".

His name is Winston Zeddemore.

You're really not helping to disprove the racist claim, you know.

I didn't know his name. But you did and not used it? Hes a character from a movie for crying out loud.

rac·ism (rszm)
n.
1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
racist adj. & n.

Where have I been a racist?

Ignoring someones contributions to something because of their race comes under there too.

I don't know the name of the guy done by the actor from Spaceballs or the secretaries name and I didn't ignore what he did I just don't think hes a "Ghostbuster" not because of what the colour of his skin is but because he isn't a founder. I'm ignorant of minor characters names from a 90s movie. I'm soooo evil.

EDIT:Ze interwebz are a strange place since I'm being called a racist by someone thousands of Kilometers away.

Enter the Matrix >.> I think it was a solid game except for the shite last level.

The path of Neo - Great game but to short and no replay value.

KOTOR 1 & 2 still one of my favourite games and i never cared to much for star wars.

In fact i also enjoyed other star wars games like "the phantom menace" and "bounty hunter" though i absolutely hated battlefront

Star Wars existed as novels long before the movies. If a game simply makes use of the universe, by no stretch of the imagination is it "film-based game".

I liked the old SNES Star Wars games, as well as the Jurassic Park SNES game. Lately though, I can't think of one that is that great.

Of course, I thought The Warriors was excellent.

Well, if I use others limits as indicators, Scarface was pretty sweet. A GTA clone that GTA ripped off (the wanted system and the vehicular combat were all ported)

Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers

And if we're counting universe as well, I should mention KOTOR.

Riddick and Spiderman 2 were pretty damn fine. Also, Rogue Squadron on the N64 (Haven't played the Cube sequels. I generally don't include KOTOR because its not really based on the film.

That all depends on whether or not the Star Wars/Lord of the Rings games count. Their both more franchises than films (and yes I know LOTR was literature before Peter Jackson was even born).

Really? Not heard that.

I don't count KOTOR as being movie based because it is set thousands of years before any of the movies with an entirely different cast of characters.

More importantly I think it should be clear to any right thinking individual that the greatest movie tie-in computer game ever made is Kung Fu Panda - The Video Game (not joking). I have the pc version which I play using a 360 controller. It's a fast paced, colourful and entertaining action adventure beat-em-up (think DMC with more realistic characters). It loosely follows the plot of the movie - close enough so that it feels like KFP, but with enough artistic license to get a decent game out of an eighty minute animated movie.

Personally I preferred it to DMC4.

The Warriors & Scarface.

Both have great stories & characters which were faithfully reproduced in the games.

GTAIV also ripped off Ricky Gervais from Scarface! His conversations with Tony Montana has to be some of the funniest dialogue in any game ever.

Even though I completed the game when it was released on PS2, I recently bought it again for the PC just so I could hunt down & talk to his NPC.

Scarface: The World Is Yours was pretty good.

The prblem was that it really screwed with the whole point of the Movie - that Tonys lust for power ended up destroying him.

Enter the matrix was really fun, and it was a cool take on the whole "movie game" thing because while it happened within the same time as the movie, you played to other characters. You get to see what happened to them. Plus it was made by Shiny, and they rule.

Also, though I hate to say it (maybe because it's already been said thiry times) the godfather was also really good. Cool combat, side quests, even RPG elements made it a really good GTA sort of sand-box game.

That's all I can really think of. I'm sure there's more out there, but those are the only two I like that I've played. I havn't really played many though.

Oh yeah, and King Kong. Almost forgot that one. It was really fun, great FPS.
