Paperboy  Posts: 23 Joined: 24 Apr 2008  | Personally, I would definitely go for Clear Sky as I absolutely love STALKER, but then, I've never been into GTA style sandbox games. You've already had experience with STALKER, and know for a fact that you enjoy it, whereas Saints Row is an unknown commodity. If I was you, I'd go for what you know, - you can always picked up SR2 in the future. Of course, that's all just personal opinion. |

The first hour or so I played was very enjoyable, because the world felt so strange and hostile. But I quickly got bored because I felt it lacked both direction and purpose. And a lot of playtesting. And maybe some more textues. It had its moments, though. |

I can fully appreciate what poleboy is saying, as it's true, it's incredibly buggy, but it's the one recent(ish) game that steadfastly refuses to be taken out of my DVD drive. I think if that atmopshere appeals to you, as it does to me, then you're willing to overlook a certain level of technical deficiency.... |

Its become apparent to me that these 2 games are the ones that i want to buy, unfortunately i cannot get both. I loved the original stalker because it was so cool, but i never had any experience with saints row (tho i played san andreas which was good)and i dont even know if the pc version is going to be as good as the console versions. So i thought i would ask you guys for your opinions. I was going to wait for a review but i think reviews can sometimes be deceptive.
