You may get Wii-like steering on X360 / PS3, but emulating X360 on PS3 / Wii, or PS3 on X360 / Wii is impossible. Wii's internals suck too much to open that kind of graphics, and PS3 has this Cell CPU, that makes it impossible for X360 to open games ONLY for PS3. Or vice versa. |

But that's about it, none of the other options are possible. Because emulation involves running a software layer that imitates dedicated hardware, you need to be running it on hardware that is significantly more powerful than what you're trying to duplicate. While the PS3 and 360 are powerful, and are managing (in some cases) to emulate their predecessors, they don't have nearly enough power to emulate each other. The Wii emulating anything more powerful is out of the question. Besides, there's nothing worth emulating post-SNES ;) Also, it's never going to actually happen. Doing something like this would require an immense amount of skill and effort, making emulation of modern consoles increasingly unlikely for hobbyists (and legally impossible for professionals). There's not even a truly reliable emulator for the PS2 yet, even at the end of its lifetime, and newer consoles are more complex by an order of magnitude. |
- this is a curious question that i have been thinking for a while about .
- [sorry people,i didn't imagine that this issue get serious,i was wrong . i apologise .]
