I helped out creating the original Final Fantasy: Caves of Narshe website with Rangers51 around 10-12 years ago back in my AOL days. It was a pretty horrid looking site, but it really kinda took off after I quit AOL and lost contact with Rangers51 since AIM didn't exist to IM AOL users back then and AOL was acting very petty and bouncing any emails from their big competitor at the time, Earthlink.

I made about a million Waypoint files for PODbot on Counterstrike, back in the day. I was pretty good at them too, even figured out how to get bots to climb ladders. Then I made some for Return to Castle Wolfenstein and realised it was so utterly boring, so I stopped.
Good times...

I used to do some Halo 1 mods. People online hated em, my friends thought they were the best thing ever.

I did some VB++ too, make a few games/apps.

Good thread gameking218!

I co-wrote some songs and made a half-crappy NWN module.

Haloween project last year. 4 Proton packs, trap, and ecto goggles. Way too much work, but some great nights out and a lot of attention everywhere we went. Also, I guess I'm pretty proud of hacking my original Xbox, and putting NES, SNES, and N64 games on there as well as playing Xbox copies I copied.

Hrmm, well the most interesting thing I've done recently is to record some bass covers of me playing songs and then uploading them on to youtube so others can see how to play. Here's the link if anyone's interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLGtmBagbuM

That's my most popular one, but there's others under my name up there.

Very cool!

I once wrote an epic adventure book about a group of people from different races who join together to defeat an ancient evil. But then some bastard from my dorm found the manuscript and ripped it off and made heaps of money. John Tolfen, Tolpen? Maybe Tolkin? Or something. He was a bit of a douche.

wow, you must be a old man by now given when those books were written, honestly, suprised your alive

One notable little story/Google-bomb... I did something similar during Games Workshop's Eye of Terror promotion the year before that, and ended up having it partially adopted into canon much to my surprise.

Not much since, though.

Yeah, so it's just a vanity press. Yeah, so I just had it published to get past the "ZOMG AUTHOR" stage. Yeah, so it's crap - and overpriced, which I had nothing to do with.

But it laid the foundation for an epic that will hopefully be many years in the refining.

Another math class creation:

I spent hours programming a game in TI-Basic on my calculator which involves a cop (represented by a number of your choice) chasing a criminal (represented by an x) around a blank screen. The x moves randomly about and if he reaches the edge you lose. If you catch him it sais "you got him! it took you (X) turns to catch him. Oh no! theres another criminal on the loose". Then it restarts. Its not much and its certainly not fun but its still by far the most complex code ive ever written.

I completed a first-year University course in Software Engineering (mostly Java) when I was 13. Think I managed a distinction, too.

And this is probably the coolest thing I've come up with in 3DS Max so far.

I discovered that i've been accidently writing the greatest script for a Time-travel themed Sci-Fi comic over the last 6 years based around the Web-comic i wanna get started (hold back the Yahtzee quotes please.)

after that i started planning and making posters.

The comic itself has been in development for about three months now.
I mis-placed my Page-layout book...

My brother and I made a great map for Half Life. It was loads of see through tunnels with invisible ladders in the skybox, and very little ammo, and you couldn't be sure when you could shoot the other player, but you could always see them.

Actually come to think of it it sucked serious Ed Balls.

I made a comic back in the day and was certainly guilty of a lot of comic related crimes that Yahtzee pointed out.

Me and a friend made a graphic novel that got published and sold terribly. It wasn't bad, it's just when your only venue is one measly Chapters store, you're not going to get very many sales.

I write and draw comics. They are mostly action orientated, poke fun at the genre and have perverted humour. My scanner has been broken for a while, so I can't show off any of it.

I've made a couple of gaming videos that have gotten some good responses. Not to mention a certain Doom 3 Mod that got a better response than I expected.

In a couple weeks I'm taking some vacation time to learn the Blender animation program. That should be fun.

I routinely make dresses, but have no artist or creative talents in terms of gaming or sketches.
