PSX: The only PSX game I keep handy for another round with a friend or by myself is Gundam Battle Assault 2, mostly because I'm a Gundam fan and this really is the only above average Gundam game in my opinion, plus it has all of my favorite series covered (NO GUNDAM SEED? HOOAH!). N64: Mario 64 is the only 3D platformer I can sit down and play, and when I get started I can keep playing and playing and playing... Legend of Zelda OoT takes a bit of effort to start playing again but really absorbs you once you get started, and the graphics and sound still present a convincing atmosphere. Star Fox 64 is perhaps my favorite shooter of all time, sporting smooth graphics, a good soundtrack, decent voice acting on the 64 no less (decent as in, "talking animals in spaceships"), and great levels/bosses. It was a very arcade like game, and I always find that to be a positive aspect. Dreamcast: The Dreamcast had a ridiculous number of great arcade titles, but since I can find many of these ported to other systems and in (the increasingly rare) arcades, I'll skip those. An underrated Star Wars game that needs some love is Star Wars Demolition. It sports a smooth frame rate, decent sound, levels that catch the Star Wars vibe, and features up to four players. I honestly enjoyed this game more than Twisted Metal, though it is short and easy, making it best to play with a friend or three. Phantasy Star Online. That's all I need to say. And the Favorite award goes to... I want to say Star Fox 64, but right when PSO came out on the Gamecube I jumped right on it and clocked hundreds and hundreds of hours in single player, multiplayer, and online game time (now only the former two). I can only hope for Blue Burst to be released on the Wii, but Sega seems to have dropped PSO for PSU now... |

It had fixed all the handling issues and unpleasant atmosphere of the first one and hadn't yet landed on the overly childish approach of Sypro 3. Saying that... I do love the first 3 Sypro games but the PS2 ones were a pile of wank in comparison. Another awesomne game for the PS1 is Rage Racer. Now that was shit hot. |

I've started playing those again and I'm hooked been trying for the coverted S ranking (oh yes the Gunblade will be mine). For the Nintendo 64, although I haven't played many games for the system, I would have to say Starfox 64. As for the Dreamcast would have to be either Sonic Adventure or Powerstone 2 I played both of those games to death. |

Saying that I did also love that wave race game (on 64), not exactly a classic but it was fun, and the water effects were beautiful |

PlayStation: Final Fantasy VIII Eventhough I believe the Dreamcast was part of last gen, I'll include it here for the sake of the thread. Dreamcast: Ikaruga |

Also, Rayman was awesome (Rayman 2 was also quite good but not half as fun) and the Tomb Raider games were great even though I never knew what I was supposed to be doing and Lara always seemed to like jumping in completely opposite directions to where I wanted. |

Oh and then all the other classics of the older generations - Ocarina of time, Majoras mask, Perfect Dark, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Jet Force Gemini, Final Fantasy VII and VIII, Metal Gear Solid, and Skies of Arcadia. |

Dreamcast is a 128bit console, it's from the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube Era.
The 360 was out well over a year before the Wii/PS3, by your argument it's last gen then?
The PS1 era Sega was the 32-bit Saturn, which I think is just a legend as I can't ever remember encountering an actual, factual Sega Saturn.
