I don't think 2 sentries would be that bad; without a dispenser, it'd take forever to build and upgrade them, and they'd be pretty easy to take out with an uber. Kinda boring, though.

Not really. A quick leg to a Big Box o' Ammo would give them a full 200 - a full upgrade. And right beside it? A full heal. Dispensers are good, but as good as another turret? Not bloody likely.

Ok, sorry for the long delay, I got knocked out of commission for about a week with a nasty cold, and still had to set up some critical services on the machine as well first.

But! The server is currently up and running, set at 24 players and party mode with the default map cycle. I'll have to check out the map cycle at some point and tune it a bit I'm sure. I know people get tired of 2fort VERY quickly, so that'll probably be gone soon enough.

tf2.escapistmagazine.com:13013 is the connection info.

I've only done very very basic config on the server currently (+ Sourcemod). I'll tweak it later depending on what sounds good. It's open for anyone currently, so feel free to hop on and test how laggy it might be, in addition to general stability.

Server announcement went up minutes ago and we already have ppl playing. Just so the announcement doesn't fool you, you DON'T copy-paste the ip cos the server won't show up. Either copy-paste tf2.escapistmagazine.com:13013 like Kross said or add the ":13013" at the end of IP.

I told Danny about it and he should update it soon.

Well, the server works fine. I only experienced a little lag when I first entered the server.

I've updated the OP with the server details. Now we just need a date.

This might be an extremely dumb Q to ask... But growing up a console gamer, I have stuck with it. Therefore, I do have, and love The Orange Box on 360... Has anyone seen or heard anything regarding new maps/ game types for the console versions of this game? I have been spending an inordinate amount of time at my friends house dominating his PC version of TF2, and would like to resume online play within my own home... Anything?

I'd also advise people to 'friend up' anyone in the Escapist group because there are three or four achievements you can get that way. "House Call" etc.
