You misunderstand me. What I mean to say is that while hulking out your guy will get you through the game, if you want to bend bad guys over a table and dry-rape them then building up certain magic skills to compliment your sword or bow (I prefer bow, it's unblockable, the best one is more or less free, and your guy doesn't turn into a roid freak) is the best way to do it. Not that it matters much. From what I hear, longbows are out, I hated crossbows in the first game (too slow for my taste), and if it's before WW2, I don't want to see guns. But that's just my two cents. |

O I see. But i know there is going to be guns in the new fable, not sure what kind of guns but there probably going to be muskets I would think. |

Yea i remember that. But now when i do that (i play on the downloaded xbox live version cause my disc died) the game glitches and turns me green, so i can take all my clothes off and pretend I'm the hulk. |

I hear that if you are a girl, at some point in the story line you have to get pregnant and have a kid, which would be weird watching a pregnant lady run around in armor (or robes) slaying things. |

Paperboy Posts: 13 Joined: 10 Aug 2008 | Well, I seem to have always started with the intention of being good... And only completed the game once whilst still being good. The rest of the time I kinda slaughtered everything. Though, I found it so much easier to be good by not going out of my way to be as evil as possible... |
Beat Writer Posts: 135 Joined: 25 Aug 2008 | I was evil cause majority of "Be Good or Evil" games, its so much easier to be evil and make money and stuff like that. So i murdered and pillaged everything i could. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 112 Joined: 24 Jul 2008 | My most recent one, who is towards the end of TLC, is a good person (because I find it funner that way), married to Lady Grey, old, and has every legendary weapon I can get right now. My last completed game, the original, I had two characters both with the game beaten. One is the evilest bastard he could be, and the other is the nicest guy ever. |
Beat Writer Posts: 135 Joined: 25 Aug 2008 | I know i cant wait to be evil in Fable II. Cause if you can get your character to look anything like the one on the box, it'll be bad ass. |

She's evil. Uhmm... At the Grey house, in the basement... Skeleton. Note. Wow, a good guy married to an evil psycho. A bit odd. |

Ha a good example of opposites attract. |
Paperboy Posts: 13 Joined: 10 Aug 2008 | Eh, well even as an evil character I avoided her. Seriously, how can you just lock a child into a basement, all the while having this 'big dream' of becoming mayor? There's something so totally wrong with that logic that it lacks evil and just kind of hits the point of mental illness or violent diarrhea. It's beyond the realm of evil and completely into the outhouse of general stupidity. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 56 Joined: 22 Mar 2008 | I tried that but it was to slow, I made my rediculous fortunes using the house trick, buy house break door, put up trophy sell house for more, run in grab trophy buy house. Good way, by the end of the game, to pick up a few 100k in under 20mins |
Press Junketeer Posts: 410 Joined: 7 May 2008 | I always try to make my guys look really cool. The first few times I played through the game I got really annoyed because I was always really old by the end. After that I only put his stats up to a certain amount, but then I got annoyed because my guy would always come out blond from all the main quests. I figured out a way to get past that too, though. I have a few suits that I reckon are pretty cool. I'll list them for everyone to try. When I'm just going through the game not caring about how old he is, the suit is chainmail helmet, chainmail top, bandit gloves, villager pants and leather boots. The suit changes with the alignment, so I haven't specified whether I use bright, dark or normal. Hair and beard are whatever, since you can't see them. When I'm a mage, I have the bright wizards hat, assassins top, dark villager pants and the normal will users gloves and boots. Hair and beard is the same as the previous suit. My normal suit, so that I don't have to care about alignment, is assassins top, bandit gloves, villager/dark villager pants and dark will users boots. Hair is bald, so you can't see blondness and horns look cool, and the most attractive/scary boosting beards I can find, since you can't see them. The last one is difficult for me to maintain, since it requires black hair and no horns. You can't really finish it 'till near the end of the game, either, and it gets really annoying having all the people going "you look stupid!" all the time just because of the haircut. Right, so the clothes are dark will users top, bandit gloves, assassins pants and dark will users boots. Hair is bowl cut and beard is the stripe, or whatever it's called. The beard is the thing that you cant get 'till near the end of the game, which is suck because I like that beard. You may have noticed that most of those suits are pretty dark, even though I don't really make a conscious effort to be evil. Well, dark stuff is cool. And I'm not emo. Or goth. My plans for Fable II are to try out everything, being a woman, being a man, being evil, being good, all that stuff. And I'm gonna try and figure out a way around the ageing system. The highlight of the previous game was messing with the various combinations of expressions and spells. I'll list them, too. 1:The fart expression followed immediately by the sexy hero pose expression. This one was the first I came up with and it's one of my favorites. I'm pretty sure there's more, but I can't remember them. And yes, all but one contains farts. The ones that didn't are more difficult to remember, since they aren't really as funny. |

No, 1 in 5 players were good. Everyone likes being evil. Especially when you get the Swords of Aeons and slaughter an entire town like Oakvale, then buy ALL the houses. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 110 Joined: 30 Mar 2008 | Last time I played a pure Mage, with only three upgrades to each physical skill. The game was still too easy. He was a good guy. I have played some evil fighters, too. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 111 Joined: 5 Sep 2008 | I RP'd a guy that could summon True invisible ghosts that wielded swords whenever danger was near. I basically only used that skill and time stop. I was a okay good guy. I wasn't overly saintly because I would get into bar fights when I was drunk. The morning after these drunken nights I would beat whoever was unlucky enough to go to bed with me. I would then proceed to slaughter any guards that my wife tattled to. I then set forth at dusk to continue my quest to defeat the evil Jack of Blades. |

I did that too ;D it was funnnnn.... until the point where one bandit decided to jump in front of my swords swinging path of destruction towards a lowly peasant, then, they all turned on me like I was the arsehole.... -sigh- |
Beat Writer Posts: 140 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 | I'm playing him right now, he was an evil Mage Nicknamed Runemaster, he wears the dark plate pants, boots and gloves, the assasins shirt and the dark wizard hat, he was evil right up until he killed Jack the first time and i decided "Eh, Avo's tear looks better" so i spared his sister and he became neutral at that point, he then endeavoured to save the world and become even more good, but because of the way he dresses no one ever trusts him. I haven't been putting too much work into him lately because he only has two spells left to master, but they're only multi-arrow and multi-hit or whatever... My most well-known one (with me and my mates) is my warrior who doesn't wear clothes and hasn't spent a penny on equipment since i started, and he runs around with a giant hammer. covered only in tattoos. In Fable two, i'm gonna do what i've done with Fable, which is Role-play with it from the start, and then do the usual "Have three characters with different stat builds" thing which'll mean i'll end up with 7 or so characters like i have on the first Fable. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 58 Joined: 28 Aug 2008 | I only made one guy. He ended as a bald saintly guy named Maleficus or something who spent most of the time preforming some half-assed evil deeds like breaking down the door to a house and punching people who were attracted to him. All in all he never really did anything to make him a really bad guy and never did any side quests. |
Paperboy Posts: 19 Joined: 25 Jul 2008 | My last Fable Character would have to be the one that stands over your corpes. Yeah thats right, i'm hard :D I usually go mage, because its more fun :P, simply because there are countless spells to train in, my favourite i think it was erm? Holy Aura or something? Well you cast it and it burns everything around you. God i love Fable. |

And Berserk will be renamed PMS. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2501 Joined: 3 Mar 2008 | I always play good... at least until I can get my hands on the Sword of the Aeons. Then I massacre Oakvale, buy all the houses there, and then eat lots of Tofu and wear the Light Will User's outfit for a while. That way I'm good, but also omnipotent! |

Way good, archer/magic. Multishot just dominates in combination with time slow.
He had a giant mustache and a ponytail, wore light leather armor.
