Somehow this file either got corrupted or deleted on my home computer, and now it won't load up. It's a ten year old dell, but I'm still a week off from getting a brand new one. So either I reformat the hardrive, or I ceramoniously beat it to death with a shovel and wait for a new one. Thoughts?

I'd go for the shovel-beating. Since you still appear to have internet access for some reason, I'm sure you can hold out a week.
