Press Junketeer Posts: 408 Joined: 29 May 2008 | Super mario rpg. One of the best SNES games ever, and if you like rpg games, definatly worth picking up. That would be my first choice. Otherwise, any of the ones Jaguar suggested. |

I agree, Mario RPG ruled |
Press Junketeer Posts: 432 Joined: 20 Aug 2008 | I wish I wasn't a Nintendo fan, 'cause then I could say "A better concole and a more worthy use for 20 quid." But, as it happens, the Wii is the best thing out there so I can't say that. Get Sonic the Hedgehog |

Copy Clerk Posts: 86 Joined: 5 Feb 2008 | Alright, alright. Super Mario RPG is a must. Has anyone actually played Sin and Punishment? Is it actually worth some of the praise I've heard about it, or is it just over-hyped because it was Japan only for so long? |

Coming in at $15 minus all of the DLC witch adds replay to the game I am sitting with about 22 hours on my first city and I still have 3 regions to send my peasants to. |

Beat Writer Posts: 169 Joined: 5 Aug 2008 | I'll have to go with star fox 64 as well. I loved that game, beat it 7 times IIRC when I originally had it. Too bad I sold my 64 to get my xbox...I miss a lot of those old games. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1144 Joined: 23 Oct 2007 | Have a look for LostWinds - possibly the flagship Wiiware title, produced by Frontier Developments, a bit short, apparently, but Frontier Developments are a very innovative company in the true sense of the word. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1750 Joined: 13 Feb 2008 | If they have Chrono Trigger, get it. I also highly recommend Super Mario RPG. It's just fantastic. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2784 Joined: 20 Dec 2007 | Take this with salt since I'm such a kirby fanboy but GET EVERYTHING WITH KIRBY ON IT! Alright, Super Mario RPG just got added too, and if you like the whole "turn based random encounters" kind of thing, then you'll like it. I don't recommended only because I played it like, 4 times over on my SNES, but, if I didn't , I'd get it for the Wii. |

Actually, Super Mario RPG didn't have random encounters, in the true sense of the word. You ran into enemies on the map. Sorta like Chrono Trigger. And yes, I'd also suggest getting Super Mario RPG. And I also played it multiple times on the SNES. |

Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 839 Joined: 27 Aug 2008 | Mario Kart 64 - best in the series. Bring on the flame but I still get a kick out of its with my mates. Streets of Rage 2 if its there. Best scrolling beat 'em up ever. |

And then a VGA adaptor so you can play the game on your TV the way it's meant to be played, and a controller so it feels right too. Wait, no. It's cheaper to just buy it on VC. |

Only because you're extremly discriminating about how you play the game. I assume most people have slightly lower standards with games that feature less than 100 colors. |

The Streets of Rage series is indeed on the VC. I also highly recommend 2. Starfox64 was already brought up repeatedly. ActRaiser is a classic Though everyone already owns it on the snes, Super Mario World is a must to own as well. It gives hours of fun. Then there are the games on WiiWare, like LostWinds (brought up already) and that new Wild West shooter that is short, but addictive. |

I already have Legend of Zelda: OoT and Paper Mario. I'm considering getting Sin and Punishment and Super Mario RPG (I've never played either of them, and thought it'd be a good experience). I'm also considering Star Fox 64. Thoughts?
