Factoring in the technical limitations of the DS it's done very well. I can guess it's an expansion on the creature phase of spore from reading reviews, but the creature creation is fun even when they're 2D paper cut-out monsters. |

I actually love it there is no other game like it sure constructions ore a bit hard to get the hang of but they do make some impressive things. If you find it boring then well... Dont play it go back to some flavorless bland game like turok heh I know you aren't that desperate. At least the phases change what you are ment to do Cell phase is different to Land phase and land is completly different to Civilisation phase. The only probalem is that it does feel a bit shallow I mean it'll take modders a month to make a cross between Spore and Age of empires then... I will be happy. Oh for the record The combat blows ass I wanted to see +9001 Rockets come out of my tanks not just 1 :( |

The best part of the game was when you made your creature, when you choose the parts that built your creature and played as your creature while trying to survive and expand... After you went into the tribe phase where you can no longer effect your creatures looks other than clothing, and you can't control your creature in person anymore, the fun went down a bit :( Although I still have to say that the tribe, civilization and space phase are pretty interesting too... |

Mate I'm usually a console gamer, I wouldn't know what I was doing if I was trying to get stuff illegally. Meatloaf, I agree that all the hype around Spore has given it too much to live up to. I have a feeling that it'll become known as the next generation of Black and White. |

Thats EXACTLY what i was afraid of, this whole epic evolutionary timeline condensed into about a week of game time..kinda like sims 2 where you age from adult to old man in what 15 days or something? lame. |
I've been playing it today, and after playing for a couple of hours I'm fairly underwhelmed. It's a bit monotonous.
Anyone else found this to be the case? Or am I doing something differently?
