A few months ago I bought DDR. I didnt really get into it at first, it was just sort of sitting in my cupboard while I was addicted to Guitar Hero. Then about a month ago, I decided to play it just because I was bored and I got hooked, I've been playing it for an hour or two a day since. Its all I've really played the last month and I'm starting to drift from Guitar Hero.
So I want to know which of the two do you prefer (Ive grouped Guitar Hero/Rock Band because I havent played Rock Band due to it not being out in Aus yet). Am I alone in my DDR over Guitar Hero stance?

Where is the "BURN THEM ALL!" Option? I wouldn't play DDR if it was the only video game on EARTH and there were no more books ever again, AND my cable stopped working...

Dancing isn't as intense and extreme as rocking out with a guitar. When do people ever go "Oh yeah he/she dances awesome, he/she is so cool!" Its always the guitars that win, unless you are starring on some stupid TV show.

Can't you just enjoy them both?

But yeah, still Guitar Hero.

Neither, I would never buy either of them, nor would I willing play either. Way to leave out an option.

I prefer Rock Band more because I completely suck at DDR and the fact that as soon as I started playing it with my mates we haven't really stopped.

Guitar Hero showed me that if i ever got a real guitar, i could play Metallica easy.

So it gets my vote.

DDR is a true party game, perfect combined with alcohol, while as Guitar Hero/Rock Band just shows your a 12 year old who wants to grow up into a rock star :P

Guitar Hero isn't the gaming equivalent of crack cocaine it should be. The core problem with a game like that is: what's the point of getting really good at the game when you can learn the proper guitar...properly. The fact is, real guitar isn't remotely like Guitar Hero. GH is either too easy or just ramps up difficulty for the sake of it.

DDR, just isen't fun. RB and GH are both pretty great but none come close to awesome when fucked brilliance of singstar!
