I'd also like to see a remake of Final Fantasy Tactics, or at least a game that uses the same basic game mechanics that DOESN'T look like it was designed for something less advanced than a cell phone *cough*Song Summoner*cough*. @TaboriHK - I can totally get behind a remake of Summoner. That game was awesome. @milomalo - They already did remake Metal Gear Solid 1. They called it "The Twin Snakes" and released it on the Gamecube for some arbitrary reason. ~Van |

Forget remake. I'd be happy if they just ported it, as is, to a console. Alice, that is. |

The only problem with that is that it would be made for the Wii, and never for the 360, and since I'm a hardcore gamer my skin burns and immedietly becomes infected with a deadly parasite that can only be killed with a rare potion concocted from ingredients unknown to man...if I touch a Wii. Sucks, I liked Luigi's Mansion. |

They need to rewrite the manual so half of it isn't in french, rebuild the game to exclude all the crashing and clipping bugs and bring the graphics up to date. I swear, if there was ever a game I'd make, it'd be this one. And I bet none of you have ever heard of it. |

Well, one of them HAS been remade. And if 2 and 3 were remade based on the same conventions, they'd be awesome too. |

Ugg, I hated that game, THEY WOULDN'T STOP TALKING!!! |

I am unsatisified saying I have beaten Nemesis when I know every other country besides the US and Canada have access to Penance. Other then that, I am satisfied with all the good games I have played. |

O_O have you seen what happens when sega treads into 3D? ps360 sonic ffs, lets leave it at that and not tarnish the classic that is sonic n knux. tbh, i think to the depths of hell with an ff7 remake, what i really want to see is a remake of FF6! that was my favorite final fantasy game ever. but tbh the way the DS remakes are going i will probably get my wish soon enough. OH and chrono cross, and the first star ocean, and...god there are so many lol. i will say this though. i think remakes shouldbe made for games that got critical acclaim but poor sales/little notoriety. they should serve as another chance for gamers to experience gaming gold |

my word you are a god among men! i completely forgot about that! yes they really should remake it, but chances are it will be censored and picked apart until only crap is left in this day and age. @Silent Biohazard Solid, no that game doesn't need a remake, it needs a goddamn sequel! and some kind of bundle with the old game or something, because eternal darkness is probably the best game that no one's played. man it was amazing |

I think Eternal Darkness is very overrated. It was a good game, but calling it the best, like so many people I know do, is a little much. I honestly found the gameplay to be a little frustrating, the graphics were very sub-par, especially for GameCube standards, and the ending was disappointing. |

Don't mess with anything, don't even touch the graphics, just make it a bit more compatible and user-friendly. I also saw Thief III. Personal feelings aside, I just think a few simple steps need to be made: 1) Take the Thief II engine and update it for compatibility with today's PCs. |

The NES versions of Metal Gear weren't Canon. The Canon versions of MG1 and MG2 were released on a home computer console called MSX. Those are the ones I'd like to see remade. |

Agreed on G/S/C being the best of the best, but somewhere around R/S/E I rather feel the series lost a lot of its charm. Maybe I was just disillusioned by Second Sequel Syndrome, but I just felt that it felt a bit tired and tarted up. Or maybe it was the vast amount of useless HMs. Even so, I'm tempted to say, let G/S/C stand. |

What's the point of an rpg if you don't want a great plot? The text parts weren't excessively long, and it all added to a great story. I can only assume you are one of the gamers who say rpg's would be good if they removed the text and interaction and just make it one long battle from start to finish, |

The NES versions were just modified ports of the MSX versions, from my knowledge. That aside, Canon or not, I enjoyed them so I want them remade using MGS4s engine. And that only after Shadowgate gets remade. (I know Shadowgate 64 existed, and I own it, but nonetheless I want a new one) |

Why? There's nothing wrong with the original! You can even download it onto your Wii if you don't still have your N64 version ;) (EDIT: Or the GameCube ports they released.) |
