Dead rising except the zombies are replaced with chavs. Also, a game worthy of the hype it receives.

A game like Mirror's Edge. That was a thought i had in my head since... 1999, actually. A First Person run-on-walls, jumping and climbing and stuff.

And why havent they made another Deus Ex lookalike game? A modern fps with character-skills and alternative storylines, and tactical equipment.

And why have they yet to make a 3d PC-fighting game?

A game like Mirrors Edge you say? How about Montezuma's return. It's a first person fully body aware platformer with jumping, fighting and climbing. It also had pretty sweet graphics for when it came out, but the level design was rather poor IMO.
And nobody wants to risk a PC-fighting game anymore. The last honest attempt was One Must Fall Battlegrounds, but the game was rushed, and suffered from poor balance and too many bugs.

I've personally been wondering why there was never made a James Pond 4? I mean a platformer with regular puzzles, gadgets, physics puzzles, combat, companion cheese/boot, portals, and about 100 levels. If I want to play a game with those features today, I have to play at least 4 different games, half of which will suck. Of course there's not much chance of a sequel, since Millennium Interactive was bought out by Sony a long time ago.

Another thing that would be awesome is an rpg with interesting characters, and dialogue, but without grind and without more that a hand full of game stopping bugs (the bugs part kills of all Troika and Black Isle games)

A prober Star Wars game that follows the plot of the movies, with an abundance of playable characters, co op etcetera. Most (dare I say all) Star Wars games nowadays try to tell a story of their own, I'd like to see a game which just follows the movie for once.

And more fighting game adopting the SSB style.

I'm suprised there don't make more Pirates/Ninjas/Pirates vs Ninjas games.

Or a decent MGS ;p

They never cancelled it. Thats the problem though, its just sitting in limbo with awesome screenshots and gameplay videos waiting to be picked up again... I really hope it does.

a game like the SW:battlefront series, but in a different context, maybe dare I say it an original context

oh and I forgot to say a game like mirrors edge but where I'm not allergic to the ground, kind of like assasins creed but not snooker-loopy from the get-go.

How about a style Fallout MMORPG... and with proper RPG meaning somewhere between WoW and AoC. add a dab of territory control elements and a myriad of factions. I.e BoS, Enclave, Raiders, Beast lords, Super mutants etc... oh yea and those robot thingies too

they are actually making a FALLOUT MMORPG and they hope to bring it out some time in 2010.

A third Knights of the Old Republic game that didn't change its genre to MMO for some reason despite that sounding like a horrible idea that doesn't even seem possible.

Starcraft Ghost has already been mentioned, so I guess I'll have to go all the way back to Dungeon Keeper 3.

Oh, and a realistic Counter-Strike with more guns. I'm getting sick and tired of them still having a boring AUG A1 when the A3 has been on the market for god knows how long, and the same could be said for the M4 being replaced by the HK416 >.<

I do want to see more guns out of realistic FPSs, especially the ones where you actually have the scratch and/or are employed by the military.

A game where you are a genetically engineered soldier brought out of cryogenic freeze to fight an evil alien menace trying to use an evil space weapon. And there are actually two sides inside the evil alien hierarchy. And the sequel would have an ending condemned by the fan community. No, someone's probably done that already.

That said, To End All Wars sounded so freakin' promising!

Neanderthals vs. Homo-sapiens, a battle for existence.

Neanderthals are lone tribes but stronger with better weapon creation. However when environmental conditions change they have to move and start rebuilding. Homo-sapiens get to keep all their recourses and gain culture enabling them to recruit from other tribes.

Could be fun.

No, but I'll say it - Full Throttle 2.

That and a decent Warhammer 40K FPS. Something like Space Hulk but without the freeze time and micro-management.

I want a Back To The Future game or something around time travel. One where time travel makes a profound effect on the world you are traveling in. Basically a bigger better a bit more "modern" Majora's Mask except with a bit more Groundhog Day to it. One where the day keeps on repeating itself over and over until you can make it perfect or something.

Also, Duke Nukem Forever?

Parkour, MMA and a realistic-ish world like GTA 4 (but not realistic in the same way, everything being boring realistic).
Make the person run about as fast as a car and you could have a lot of fun.

I've always wondered why there aren't any sandalpunk RPGs. I'm a sucker for alternative fiction in general (I gobbled up Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader because of it despite the fact that the game was pretty crap), but sandalpunk is massively underrepresented in just about any fiction space.

An RPG with a backdrop where ancient Greeks had invented the steam engine, and proceeded to conquer the world? Count me in. Hell, I might start work on that project myself. I have a huge design sheet for it.

Freespace 3.

Freespace 2 was awesome.

Why haven't they come out with a decent Battlestar Galactica game yet? It could be RTS (Homeworld), FPS (Republic Commando), RPG-FPS (Deus Ex - played as a Cylon amongst the Humans, perhaps), or Space Sim (Freespace.)

Instead they chose to do top-down 2D space shooter arcade-style? What's up with that?

Isn't that an urban myth? That Archimedes invented a steam powered canon?

I wake up in this prison and talk with my guardian angel, who tells me about my lineage. An assassin appears, looking for me, and kills some guards. In the chaos, I escape. I exit the prison. Leonardo da Vinci appears and teleports me to Barcelona.

When I told this to my friend, he said, and I quote: "...what really happened?"

Idk, if that game had a decent story it might've made up for the horrible gameplay, but tbh I didn't actually find the gameplay THAT unbearable, it was the STORY that drove me away. The anachronism is just too much for me, a history geek, to bear. Had the game had a nice story I'd have stayed, but I draw the line at da Vinci showing up for no reason and teleporting me to Barcelona.

I can't figure out why they haven't made a John Malkovich simulator yet. It would sell JILLIONS!
