Agreed. |
Press Junketeer Posts: 469 Joined: 15 Dec 2007 | nocturne (that game where you are a misterious hunter of monters circa 1930 if anyone played it) i think, for the story, it was nice, and they leaved on a cliffhanger, it never had a direct sequel. |

It was way too arbitrary. Wasn't it random each battle? If they had set rules for set areas that'd be okay (well, better anyway) but randomising it was just stupid. The Jagd missions were the best. Sure your guys could die, but at least you didn't have to worry about the crazy judge. I think VGcats expressed it best. |

Come on, that ending was so much bullshit that it amazed me, and I've heard George Bush make at least a dozen speeches. It was the ultimate cliffhanger, and they never made the sequel. On the subject of games, Deus Ex, very much so, I know there was invisible war but that's not so much a sequel as some minor filler. You end Deus Ex SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER as essentially the ruler of the world, unless you go with "new dark-age" plan, but honestly, I think it would be cool to have a game that goes on from there. |

And even though they're already being made, Empire:Total War and Battlestations: Pacific need to hurry up. Not that they're taking a particularly long time, but I'm still dyin' here. |

I dunno. I felt I needed closure, but the more you think about it the more the story is pretty much wrapped up across the five games. I do agree with Dungeon Keeper 3. And Eternal Darkness 2. |
Paperboy Posts: 31 Joined: 21 Aug 2008 | Obsidian/Lucas Arts definitly needs to make a sequel to Kotor 2. Not a silly MMO. An actual sequel. |
Paperboy Posts: 27 Joined: 22 Feb 2008 | Mischief Makers. One of the most fun platformers I've played with wonderfully original controls and some of the most fun boss fights I've seen (character fights, not the random animals). Unfortunately, the game was also ridiculously easy, so it really isn't even fun to play anymore. Every time I pick it up again I'm disappointed at how quickly the bosses die. Someone needs to use this system again, even if it isn't a sequel. Rocket Knight Adventures would be my second choice. The first one was a great game by itself. The SNES sequel was crap, but the Genesis one made a major improvement by allowing the jetpack to charge automatically and allowing you to use it multiple times in air. Unfortunately, the level design made it impossible to enjoy it as you were confined to tight areas littered with spikes and such for pretty much the whole game. It was almost impossible to use the jetpack without killing yourself in anywhere other than the first level. If someone enhanced the controls a bit (give a little more control over flight) and gave you open spaces to play in it would be the perfect sequel. |

FP was okay. It was a fun arcade shooter in the vein of GoldenEye, but the single-player was mediocre, and even in light of all its features - which were, in fairness, mostly a hodgepodge of things done better in other games - it seemed a bit uninspired. That said, I do love all the mini-games. |

I second this motion for a GUN sequel. Gun was awesome. But I never got to rob a train from horseback. So make it happen neversoft, stop making skateboarding games with terrible grasps of gravity and make it already. |

I kinda think he should be left to his own devices. Considering his next games seems wierder and more meaningful than ever. Pokemon. I can't believe they didn't make a sequal to games as amazingly popular as Red and Blue. I kid, I kid. I really think they should make a prequel to San Andreas, in the same way that Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories were prequels to III and Vice City respectively. It should also center on Catalina, cause quite frankly I think she would make the best character. I just want to see a scene of where she shoots a guy in the head for coming onto her. |

I liked the customization and "realism" on the PC version (where crashing into walls kills you), but the more arcade style was much easier and occasionally a lot more fun to pick up and play on Xbox. There should be one for the 360 dammit! Also another System Shock please. One that is not Bioshock because as much as I like steam punk I have been a fan of cyberpunk since Johnny Mnemonic and Syndicate Wars. User was banned for: A boss encounter one may never forget.... What games left you SCREAMING for more, for both good and bad reasons. Did the story end on a cliff hanger with no real resolution, would you like to see more of it in better graphics, did it have too many bugs, or do you just want more?
Just for clarification…..games that have been announced to have sequels do not count.
Here is mine:
1. Legend of Dragoon (for all its gameplay faults, and painful level of anime-like
themes; I just loved it’s story and game concept)
2. Legacy of Kain: Defiance (If anyone has played this series…… they know what I mean)
3. Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne (not WoW!!!!!!! Warcraft 4 as an RTS)
4. Homeworld 2 (I don’t care what anyone says, it’s the best space strategy sim ever made)
5. Alien Vs. Predator 2 (the FPS not the terrible movie)
