Anonymous Source Posts: 6 Joined: 25 Sep 2008 | I know it seems weird as the game only came out a week ago, but i would like to see some sort of sequel to Force Unleashed. If Lucasart's read the reviews of the game and realised it wasn't perfect, they could improve on them in a potential sequel and give us a better game. The engine of TFU was amazing and it would be a shame if they just let it go to waste. |

Arcanum! I swear nobody else I've ever talked to has played that. Also, Baldurs Gate 3 would be awesome...really really awesome. I re-installed Shadows Of Amn a few days ago, so much fun to play again. |

Yep! I want to get that guy... the baddy... I forget his name.
Yeah, I need some more face-hugging goodness. I loved coming at the enemies on the roof like Alien 3 :) |

And here I was thinking I was the only one! On both counts. Mischief makers was the last 2D platformer that i really really enjoyed, and had some great ideas in it that could bring the genre forward (if anyone would like to recommend further 2D platformers I'm all ears). And Arcanum - wow that game had potential. Cool world, cool mechanics, cool atmosphere, cool character system. Totally and utterly flawed fighting system. I would love to see someone have a proper stab at a reiteration of that world. It would be totally amenable to the newer technologies. |

But the best part was the great music you listened too while playing! I can remember they had some Black Sabbath, Metallica, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, etc. |

I hear ya, man. Though I'm somewhat worried that it might end up like KoTOR and KoTOR II. The second improved the gameplay of the first at the cost of the story. Having your cake and eating it too? That's just crazy talk :p Would love to see a story driven RPG with the epic scope of BG2 |

The GBA and DS Castlevanias are the only recent 2D platformers I have respect for anymore. As much as I hate the soul drop mechanic (not that I mind stealing powers from enemies, but how about making it more interesting than "kill enemy x 100,000 times"?), the games are still solid platformers and the annoying bits can be ignored if you don't care about full completion. The mario-based games (new Yoshi's Island, Super Princess Peach) are ok, but they have nothing on the old-school versions. At least Castlevania is actually an improvement over its early days of slowly tough-walking your way through the world. I'd put Metroid up there as well but it looks like they've given up on 2D games, which is a crying shame since the Prime games are just barely passable as a good series, while the 2D ones are among the best platformers in existence. No one to my knowledge has ever done anything interesting with grabs in the way Mischief Makers did, nor has there been a 2D game that much fun to move around in since the SNES Megaman X games. If someone made a combination of Mischief Makers, Megaman X, and Smash Bros I'd probably piss myself, but it looks like I'll just have to make it myself. |

AVP 2 was the definition of epic. Must've replayed that several times, and the multiplayer was pretty good. OH VIDEO GAME GODS, HERE MY PLEA! Make AVP3, and give it no association to the two atrocious movies! |

Not the best RPG in my opinion, but totally agree with the rest! Love the White Wolf lore with Vampire. seeing as my main RP character was a Lasombra, they really need to introduce Sabbat or even specific antitribu bloodlines. Warcraft 4 .. I need that in my life God of War 4. Yes God of War 3 isn't out yet(or for the near future) but I figure if they get planning now, I won't have to wait too long after God of War 3 .. which will be amazing, and saying or believing anything negative is sacrelige :p! Bahamut Lagoon. Never had this long enough to finish it, but had hours of joy raising and feeding dragons, as well as the great gameplay. A next gen version would be off the hook if it could get some decent development and initial attention. |

Not likely. They've said it before - God Of War III explains why there are no more Greek Myths. So either he moves on to Norse Mythology (which would be kick ass if you think about it) or the series ends. |

Set it after the events of Episode VI, make the main character Luke Skywalker's student, include a better targeting system for some of the force powers. Leave everything else. |

OMG! It is like someone read my mind and posted my thoughts on the internet. Scary! Why are there no more good space flight sims? A new Freespace game would be most welcome. Hell if LucasArts would get off their ass and make a propper X wing vs. TIE fighter game I would buy that instantly. The orginal TIE fighter game was the best space sim ever! A good game that made you play as the bad guys, oh yes, it IS good to be bad. And I still think that Planescape: Torment is the best RPG made to date. It has the kind of depth and story that is not found in other RPGs today. You dont select a character type and paly the game. No, you play the game and your character is shaped by your actions. Only the legendary Fallout was like that (I am one of the nay-sayers that fear that fallout 3 is gonna suck!). |

Or Kratos trancends time, and we have a messed up future world, with Kratoas swinging from skyscrapers and tearing apart legions of space marines. That or Nazi's I wonder why I'm never called pessimistic :) I agree that norse mythology would be kick ass. Kratos vs Odin. The series may just end up as Kratos getting rid of all mythologies one by one..awesome! |

It was anything but random. It changes on a daily basis in a set cycle that's very easy to see. The actual list of laws at any one time changes to another, preset list of laws every time you finish a plot-related mission. With a little savvy you could easily exploit the laws to your advantage (such as fighting Ultima on a day that Charm was banned). |

i have the agree with number 1,2 and 3 on that one, i love legend of the dragoon, i loved the battle system and most of the game, it was a very rich game in all areas for its time, Legacy of Kain was good, and hard, i loved thewhole vampire theme, that game got me into the dark horror side of things And a warcraft 4 would be the bomb i been playing number three frozen throne for a long time now, maybe after starcraft 2 |

You basically took the entire list right out of my mouth. I've been craving a new Loom for YEARS. Monkey Island 5 would be awesome, but after the abomination that was MI4, I'm a tad skeptical. Still, it would be nice to see the series go out on a high note. Couple other games I want would be Crackdown 2, Portal 2 (it is coming, just not any time soon, especially knowing Valve's track record), Bioshock 2, and Descent 4. There are probably a couple more that I forgot, but that covers most of the bases I think... |
Paperboy Posts: 45 Joined: 25 Sep 2008 | Trap Gunner for the PS1. It had no story but the gameplay was addicting. And it had an announcer that puts the Halo announcer to shame. I don't care if they add a plot or not, the multiplayer was sex. |

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
Greatest RPG ever. Bar none. We need a sequel. Do you hear me Troika? You sons-of-bitchs gave us Arcanum, Temple, and Bloodlines, and then you leave? No-fucking-way. Get your ass back together and make our sequels.
