Games that need sequels? Oh, I've got a few:

1) Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. What the hell happened to this game, it was a great game with funny characters and it was completely forgotten apparently
2) Okami. Okay, so technically is doesn't need a sequel but I think most of us who have played it would like one, and the ending did leave the possibility of a sequel
3) Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. A very unique game, and actually a lot of fun to play, with these new systems out they could take the sanity effects through the roof.
4) Gotcha Force. Now this is a game that needs a sequel (but sadly it's most likely so unknown to most people that it won't get it) on the current gen systems, it was a great party game especially with 4 friends. Sure the story really sucked and sometimes the characters make me want to hit them, but the simple immensity of customizable battle forces, and the large amount of things to unlock make it a great game. All nintendo would need to do is ramp up the graphics a little, add even more borgs and give it online support so people could trade online (no online fights though, the fights are hectic enough without lag added to it).

I second Metal Arms and Gotcha Force. No reason not to have online though, as Mario Kart proves it can be done by Nintendo without problems. The only reason the game had so much slowdown is that it was badly programmed.

For any of you who actually like Gotcha Force, check out its board on GameFAQs. We've found a glitch that allows you to get any borg in the game (in theory) including G-Black and the Galactic Emperor, all without an Action Replay or similar cheat device. There's still a lot we don't know about it, so come join us if you feel like playing around with it.

Half-Life, amiright?

But seriously, I'd like a remake of Eternal Darkness. I never owned a Gamecube but played it at a friends house and thought it looked excellent. I'd like to have a version I can play if that makes sense.

#1. Advent Rising. I mean, come on, that game was epicly spectacular. At least, the PC version was. And it WAS going to be part of a trilogy.

#2. Clyde's Revenge/Hocus Pocus. ...yeah I bet nobody has heard of these. Think back to 1994 on the PC.

#3. Not Legend of the Dragoon. They could never go anywhere with it. Amazing game, yes, but a sequel would suck.

Actual #3. Jazz Jackrabbit. ...yeah.

The next Jet set radio, JSRF was one of the best games ive played in a while
Warcraft 4, cause i like RTS over MMOs (well i also like FPS,RPG and every other kind over it) cause WOW is too dull and i think the plot in Warcraft 3 was good.

Seconded. Although they can't make a true sequel, it would have to be a spiritual sequel.

Space Hulk has to be remade. I was playing it before and was reminded of how good it was and still is to this day. Bastard hard tho.

Nexus the Jupiter Incident, but they do need to fix the buggy graphics, one of the greatest spacecombat sims I have ever played.

Also another vote for KOTOR 3

That I can agree with. Not a sequel, but a spiritual one

Can I get a Skies of Arcadia II?

Granted the game got way too easy towards the end (focus, focus, god move, focus, focus, god move, etc.) and I can't think of any other RPG, or any game for that matter, in which I defeated the final boss with all characters at perfect health, but they could touch all that up in the sequel (along with the god-forsaken random battles when you're just trying to fly from one island to another).

I think STALKER needs a legit sequel. CS was a prequel, now i wanna know what happens after Strelok, which of the 2 good endings was real?

Munch's Odyssey needs a sequel, stranger's wrath was good but i wouldnt call that part of the Oddworld Anthology because Abe wasn't there.

Theres supposed to be 7 games, we have 3 at the moment, 4 if you want to include strangers Wrath.

Physconauts needs a sequel, its cool.

Black and White 2 needs a number 3

Warcraft 4 of course, with mac compatibility of course

A good long Zelda game on the wii is needed too, i mean like 3 times longer than TP (so we are talking like 60+ hours now)
and maybe a sequel or spinoff of Halo, i'd prefer a spin-off that is also a sequel, much like Strangers Wrath was but with abit more meaning, as the Master Chief wasn't the only Spartan on the Pillar of Autumn in the first game (there was one n cyrosleep, maybe she could come to him in the fore-runners dimension)

Like she got out of cyrosleep and searched through the galaxy for the MC before he blew up the first installment of the rings

1. Thief 4! I don't remember when last good stealth game came out (except stealth-ish Assassin's Creed ofc)
2. KotOR 3
3. Portal 2

Also I'd like to see Guild 3 someday... I like the idea behind Guild 2 (never played 1st one), but it wasn't really executed well enough.

I have said it many times, but Blast Corps!!!! That game was so much fun, it definately deserved a sequel, but Rare would most likely screw it up like everything else they try to rehash.

Rare isn't Rare anymore, sadly, they haven't been since they starting putting stuff on Xbox. Different people, same company. The Perfect Dark / Goldeneye / DK64 / Banjo-Kazooie / Blast Corps/ Conker's Bad Fur Day, magic may never be captured again. But man, those were great days.

Is there a sequel confirmed for Mass Effect next? I wanna know if I can bring my version of Shepard over, how would that even work?

I'd like to see a sequel to "Robin Hood : Defender of the Crown" excellent game, but I feel their tech failed them. They tried everything at once and couldn't "quite" pull it off. I think with next-gen polish and little more budget that game could be amazing.

Psi Ops was one of my fav. ps2 games. the story ended on a cliff hanger and i would buy that game in a second if another came out. I know i will get flack for this one but what about Army of 2...er...2? If they can perfect some little things co-op in that game would rule over all. I had a ton of fun with that game, though i admit i never bothered to play w/out a freind. And if they fixed dead rising's save and out of control time manegment stuff that would be worth playing. And lastly Kane and Lynch. I know guys the shooting was terrible and both SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER endingS were terrible i would love to see Kanes life dealing with STIIIILLLL SPOOOIIILLLERSS the loss of his daughter or how his life is now changed because he left his team out to dry.

I'm not sure if this would count as a sequel... but I think it would be a great idea to redo all of the DOOM levels from DOOM, DOOM II, and Final DOOM all with a new engine and revamped graphics. Then just add the multi-player capability for co-op and VIOLA!

Tombi 1 and 2!
You might of heard of this one
A "Whoopee Camp" 2D (3D in the sequel) ps1 game involving a small weirdo kid with pink hair and a variety of nasty looking weapons which he stored by eating them (whoever thought of that deserves a medal) and then smacking evil pigs around the head with said implements, jumping on their backs, biting their sorry asses and throwing them into other pigs.
All because they took your bling
Utter genius
And ultra fast gameplay
Company went bust though :(
It needs to be brought back, maybe like as a full 3D game would need to be made perfect though for it to work well, but use better voice acting, and maybe have more full scale fights like kingdom hearts.

But to digress from my ancestral fanaticisms
Would love to see another star wars battlefront, i know they're making a LOTR one but star wars was still really good.

Its Tomba
I used to play that game to hard

That game could be legendary on the Wii. Hell, that game could be legendary on any console.

Shenmue II, you fucks.

...you mean Shenmue III, right?

I'd love a sequel to Evil Genius, only without the bastardness of the second island (until you can pit all the forces against each other... which is impossible if they're killing all your goddamn minions. And why can't I have more than 100 minions?!
