Wouldn't it be "Fail and die", or "Fail so die" (as in "you fail so you die" or "you fail so go die")? "Fail or Die" suggests that failing means you live, which is presumably the aim of life, therefore you win. If you win, however, you can't fail, as failure would result in a loss. Also,
I know about France but I am not French nor have I ever been to France. I know of guns and violence, but I don't use guns nor violence (well, sometimes violence, but only when it's both funny and not too harmful). This is the same as me knowing of 4chan but not using it. And finally,
