Also, this is the first time I see the trailer and I can't help but say "OMG!" - just because I kick so much arse with Asuka and now I get to see her all "next-gen'ed". So, what's with the "contortionist" character being a staple of fighting games lately? It's like Namco realized they left one out and put Zafina in. |

I saw another trailer on there and Xiayou (never could get that right) was turning people's heads into to teddy bear heads. Tekken also was kinda far fetched but now they are about to take this series MK overboard. The boss is a freaking dragon. Nuff said. |

I hope he isn't a cheating bastard. *shakes fist at jinpachi - he then freezes it and fires an un-dodgeable blast of energy which takes off 3/4ths of you health bar, and if I did dodge it, he fires 3 more in succession with not enough time to dodge* |

...well they aren't focusing on 2 new characters. I think they got 4 or 5 new ones, and they are focusing on them. So I guess Tekken 2 is the way to go for you. Personally 3 was my favorite. Jin was the man. A good mix of Kazuya and Jun. After 3 though they messed him up big time. |

Yeah but it didn't have a kickboxing velocoraptor which is something every game should have. |

It does have a kickboxing Kangaroo, a giant panda that wrestles people and a Golem. I think they're a bit more impressive. |

... It's true. I can't think of a game that would have suffered because of a kickboxing velociraptor. |

RAGE. INCOHERENT RAGE AT JINPACHI. RAAAAAWR. He made me nearly break my PS2 controller in half. It was even worse using characters I wasn't good with just to unlock more characters RAGHHHH. XO |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1169 Joined: 26 Mar 2008 |
That is a good question really. The graphics barely look different, the controls are the same. They just add a few new characters and slap on a stupid story! |

Same reasonh they keep making any fighting game. |

Muckraker Posts: 339 Joined: 8 Nov 2007 | They keep making new Tekkens because they still earn money. It earns more money in the US than VF, which pains me greatly with all the gimmicky muck that's in there. T6's new features are a rage system that powers up people at low health and bound combo's which are akin to VF's slams (VF5R in turn is copying Tekken's smack into the ground relaunch thing which is dramatically increasing combo damage). The usable items are mainly just dress up or so ff-in slow that you deserved getting mangled. Leo, Zafina, Bob, Miguel, jet fighter girl, dude with ugliest hair ever. More than 2 new charry's. |

Hm, really? I had issues with how slow T4 was, though the best thing in that game they should've carried over was the practice-combo thing that forced you to hit the combo maps properly. I still have nightmares about Steve's ugly shirt. *shudders* |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 6167 Joined: 30 Jan 2008 | Well, apparently the Ps3 will not be getting Tekken 6. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 6167 Joined: 30 Jan 2008 |
Well, you could say that about any fighting franchise besides Super Smash Bros. |

Yes, yes, another cross-platforming thing that's delaying a game I want to play AGAIN. *getting really annoyed by it now* *grumbles* *kicks dirt* |

Anyone catch Jack Tea bagging someone? It's around the 1:04 mark in the trailer if you blink you'll miss it.
