I think they should have between four to eight characters from each series they include, for example: Mario, you've got Mario, Peach, Bowser, Luigi, Yoshi, Wario, and then they could add Toad, Waluigi, Daisy etc Personally (being a huge metal gear fanboy) id like to see Snake, Liquid, Solidus, Raiden, Ocelot, Meryl, Raven etc

I'm not saying that clones suck, necessarily, just that the fact that there are three fox clones, each of which are only a tiny bit different (falco is faster and throws his reflector, wolf is stronger and his dash goes up) is unnecessary. If you're going to make that many clones, at least make them significantly different, like Mewtwo and Samus (if you look closely there are several similarities) or Marth and Roy.

How can you dislike "FALCOOOOON PAWWWWNCH!" ? Or "Shoe me your moves!" when you've dressed him in the campest white and pink outfit he can have. I do significantly better with Wolf than I do Fox or Falco, which is odd because they're pretty similar to each other, so I kinda like Wolf.
1. Ganon with his broad sword and a couple of magic powers, but same final smash. (the sword taunt really takes the mickey guys :( )
2. at least different final smashes for the starfox crew, an airstrike for waolf, landmaster for fox and arwing for falco (think dragoon that shoots as well)
3.speed all the characters up again, link is way to slow.
4. screw ROB, lets have knuckles or toon zelda instead (with her b+down being turn into tetra, who uses bombs and the likes.)

No use having strong attacks if you can't land them or get interrupted before you can execute them. Not to say Ganon's bad, he's just not necessarily better simply because his Warlock Punch has more launch ability and power than Cpt. Falcon's Falcon Punch.

well i think that skill with ganon counts to because i can land all my hits with ganon compared to capt. falcon,but u do have a good point that capt. falcon is faster than ganon.but i think power matters more than speed .just look at ike hes a power house and has large radius attacks and he completly rock and powns everyone and he has somewat slight speed

One of the pokemon E4 champions or gym leaders. Spongebob and Patrick.

Very, VERY easily. Try listening to those two sound effects, plus the noises he makes when he jumps, on a loop for 3-5 minutes! It drove me insane!!!!....moreso.
A Fire Emblem character who doesn't use a sword to replace Ike - Hector would be perfect, but other good choices would be Oswin, Dart, or Canas as heavy hitters, and Lucius as a long-range fast character. Ike is one of my favorites, but I think non-sword needs more representation.

For example: a few of Fox's alternate costumes would be Falco, and they would change the B attack. Luigi would be a Mario costume and change the down-B move. Any thoughts on this idea?
I'd like to see Vectorman (from vectorman) and Bass (from the megaman series) as well as the black mage from final fantasy and i also think ToeJam and Earl would be good (either regular or ice climber style for toejam and earl)
As stupid as it may sound, I think that the new Prince from the POP series would be interesting to see. I'd also like to see Amaterasu from Okami, Jak and/or Daxter from the Jak and Daxter series, and Kratos from the God of War series....now that would be awsome.

On FE characters: SOREN =D. Seriously, a spellcaster from Fire Emblem would be awesome. Or a spear-wielder. Not Hector, cos in terms of Smash Bros an axe wouldn't be that much different from a hammer. But a spear...

On Costumes: Well, Luigi and Falco are so different from Mario and Fox respectively you can't in all honesty call them clones anymore, unless you wanna be really nitpicky ("but their B-moves look similar!"). Besides, some of my favourite characters through the series happened to be "clones" (Luigi, Falco, Toon Link, Lucas...), so I'm against this. What I think should happen is do what they did with Wario, but with more characters. Give Mario a Doctor Mario outfit, make Samus' Fusion Suit more than just the Varia Suit with a paint-job. Stuff like that. In the former case, Mario's fireballs would become pills, but the changes would be purely graphical (they wouldn't bounce the way they did in Melee). I think that'd be cool, but don't take the clone characters out completely, they're sufficiently different (apart from final smashes, I mean WTF Falco in a tank??) to still be interesting fighters in their own right.
Master Chief...Yes I know. But they had fucking Snake in there, why not have a big character from Microsoft in it? He would even be less violent than Snake, so nobody can use that as a reason.
