As usual for these types of things, the explanation is simple: Magic! |
Copy Clerk Posts: 58 Joined: 27 May 2008 | Halo I never hated but never really liked either. I would have to say... the Need for Speed series of games was a bunch of crap. Wow by a long shot is the WORST! And uhh... Fable turned into a disappointment for me. I don't know but for me: considering that their have been movies made of things similar to every single one of these games I just mentioned, I have to say that I like the movies better. |

Seriously, just about all of my mates seem to spend most of their free time on Live, and this is the only game they play. It's not that good. And since when has raising your weapon to eye-level automatically targeted it? |

Plus the good guys are so astonishingly bland that it becomes one of *those* kinds of games where you deliberately get everyone killed as creatively as possible, which here meant utilzing an admittedly AWESOME feature: ridiculously over-the-top death scenes. Gorgeous ^_^ |

Infamous Scribbler Posts: 548 Joined: 27 Aug 2008 | Ico. I just... got bored. I loved Shadow of the Collosus, but I just didn't find the world as interesting from the perspective of this kid, and the platforming/puzzles or whatever you'd consider it just made me walk away. I can understand why other people like it, but it ain't fo' me. |

Wow, that's a lot of criticism and defence against people criticizing you for a shoddy game (by your opinion). Though interestingly, I like almost all hyped games. I find myself an excuse to like a game, because I think the more stuff that can bring joy to me, the better. |
Paperboy Posts: 25 Joined: 10 Sep 2008 | Grand theft auto 4 i love the others but i dont like the new reimagend game i liked the cartoony feel of the others. Halo never liked the first one when i played it didnt like the third one when i tried it . Any sports game Madden or what ever . Never cared. Metriod prime . I didnt like the fps style of it . Zelda ocorana[whatever] of time . My like stoped at link the past and started again at twilight princess. |

Felt like a major step backwards for the series, which I flat-out didn't like. Warcraft/Starcraft. I prefer STRATEGY games, not mouse-clicking contests involving looking up the prescribed build order on GameFAQs and racing to see who can do it the fastest. I love RTS games, but prefer those in the Age of Empires/Rise of Nations vein or the Total War series. Sims 1. I LOVE Sims 2 to death (and have fattened EA's coffers by close to $300 considering the game and its expansion packs), but Sims 1 felt more like a prototype of a great idea---which may explain why Sims 2 was so good. |
Paperboy Posts: 35 Joined: 3 Sep 2008 | Ive never been a fan of the halo series. I remember playing halo for the first time after hearing loads of people raving on about it,only to find out how dull it was. I thnk that I was just spoilt by too many good fps's on pc. |
Beat Writer Posts: 140 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 | Most modern (and some older) FPS games, i'm just not a fan of shooting games, except for Bioshock, for some reason i just love that game, must be the Steampunk nature of it all. Star Wars games, most, if not all people i know LOVE Star Wars, and yeah i love the movies too, but the games, no i just can't get behind them, i mean i like to TFU, but even then the novelty wore off fast. |
Paperboy Posts: 15 Joined: 1 Oct 2008 | The GTA series, Gears of War, Unreal Tournament, sports games like Madden, most JRPGs (although I greatly enjoyed several of the Final Fantasy games and Chrono Trigger), Guitar Hero (Rock Band is a different story), most fighting games, many "retro" games (seriously, if you play GoldenEye today it's horrible). |

There's not really much of a difference between Rock Band and Guitar Hero |

Condemned 2, I did like some aspects of the game. Just got really old fast.
