So what are those certain games, that no matter what, you always seem to just click on just to make that clock tick a little bit faster, or maybe even just engross yourself in. For me, its gotta be Counter Strike:Zombie mod. I can't wait for Left4Dead and the server I play on has a ranking system so I've become a bit of a point whore. So yeah, which games do you guys just find yourselves playing just to give yourself something to do?

Playing wipeout pulse on my PSP. I have not touched it in some time and I need to get back my pro moves, shame the online is practically dead :(

Having just run through Farcry, FEAR + EP, and Prey just waiting on a new game or two, I'm now moving on to the Sims2. How sad my life that I'm going back to a pitiful game like the Sims just to kill time... And for the joy of locking people in a room with no crapper.

Kingdom Hearts. I've been slowly working my way through Expert Mode, with initial stats set to favor offense and penalize defense heavily. In other words, I die in two hits. It's a new way to play for me, and on topic, it helps to pass the time.

Pssh, you make it sound like a bad thing. I actually just loaded up The Sims 2 last week as well in an attempt to kill time...and virtual representations of myself and friends... <_<...>_>

Super Stardust HD.

Whenever I find myself bored, but don't have enough time to really play a big mainstream game, I'm always urged to go straight for Super stardust.

At the moment I'm playing Heavenly Sword (Which I'm about to beat) then I'll be moving on to The Orange Box and KOTOR to kill time until Fable II and LBP are released.

If everything goes wrong, I'm waiting for Christmas when I'm going to buy a 360. So everything I'm playing is to wait until then.
Yes, I know the above reads strange, but I'm not going to buy a 360(and expensive HDTV) months before I move out of my mother's house.

But back on-topic: Painkiller, Half Life2 + episodes, Half Life: Source, Loki, C&C3 and Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2.

I have a critical shortage of free time now, and the only game I've played in the last couple months is Call of Duty 4. If I didn't have that, I think I'd still be playing CoD2.

WoW on a private server, Doom (live arcade), Duke Nukem 3d (live arcade).

Yes, my gaming tastes are a bit off recently.

Whenever I just want to pass some time, I fire up the ol' NES emulator and play it with my playstation controller. My life completely changed once I got that adaptor allowing me to use playstation controllers on my PC, emulators are so much more enjoyable when not played with a keyboard. And NES games are so easy to pick up and play and most of them are pretty short, so they are great timekillers. Thirty minutes is enough for a run through Contra.

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Morrowind. Although I'm having trouble fitting worthwhile portions of Morrowind into my oh-so-busy schedule of walking the dog and staring aimlessly into the fridge.

It walks?
I must play this walking game!

For me, it's Diablo 2, whatever RPG/platformer I happen to have on my emulator at the time, or SSBM. Not the latter now that my brother's lent it to a friend without asking me. The lameass

WoW, if that counts. If not, Gears.

Me and my buddy are picking up an N64 and Gamecube when we next visit home. We have a list of games put together that we're gonna try to beat. All of which are the best platformers, action/adventure, and Metroid Prime games for their respective systems.

Yeah, I didn't want to say FPS because the only one we're playing is Metroid.

Working my way through maniac mode in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Let me tell you it takes a lot of patience... but it's fun in a sado-masochistic way

I never get tired of those, as Yahtzee put it, "hacky slashy maim-a-thons".

I play Everquest II to pass the time. I haven't really been playing anything else lately because I have to take care of my boyfriends guild the whole time. If I don't have the time or patience I play Loco-Roco.
I need more games. ;__;
