mine is almost always just because there is always someone who thinks its a good idea to run right out in front of me while i'm shooting, then scream at me because he's an idiot.

One notable Halo 3 match we had this annoying peice of sewer filth on our match who simply wouldn't shut up, he insulted everyone and figured that was a good reason to dictate gameplay, anyone who didn't do as he asked he yelled at, and it hurt our gameplay as it was so off-putting.

Eventually i snapped and told him I was going to bloody well kill him. I sought up out and tried to give him a few battle rifle shots in the face, although he kept dodging them, and then betrayed my himself. Next thing I knew the boot player option sprung up, so i was quick to shove that idiot off the match and got cheers from various players.

So I guess my point is that if your game has an option to kick player, and someone on your side is being an asshole, provoke them into killing you and kick the bastard.

Whenever I get some prick like that I immediatly mute him. But what you did sounds more satisfying.

Sadly he only started piping up after the match had begun -_- annoyingly enough the guy seemed to have one working brain cell. I guess that died since he was stupid enough to get provoked.

I only ever kill on COD 4 Hardcore matches and only by accident. Normally its because i'm twitchy and if theres no radar you tend to shoot anything that pops out on you. Most of time though its because i decide to room check using a grenade only for a team mate to run in there just after i've thrown it and end up a bloody mess all over the walls.

Although i do remember playing streets of rage back in the day and getting into hilarious fights with your mates because they accidently punched you, so you punch them back and before you know it you have a full on brawl while all the punks stand around and watch.

People who dont look before crossing the road in ET:QW often end up as road kill. If you step out in front of my speeding hog theres no way im gonna stop in time!

TK revieves are quite common as well.

Only when people take the game too seriously and are audibly stressed. It always creates an explosion of screaming and laughing.

Usually at some point when playing with my friends one of us will accidentally shoot another, usually not fatally. At which point our team unity and cohesion falls apart and we descend into blue on blue violence until the opposing team gets bored of moping up our weaken resistance or wins.

On COD 4 I TK because that online is so horrible its the only way I can justifiy buying the game. Especially when people take it so seriously and cry at you about it...

If someone Team Kills me they are guaranteed to receive a rocket up the rectum. Other than that, I usually try to find a way to just ignore them; i.e. just going around them; however I have been known to be a little too concise with my grenades, killing not only the opponent, but my idiot teammate that got in the way as well.

I don't TK deliberately, even in self defense... it just drops the score further, and in the Halo games it also sets *me* up for being booted. I just grit my teeth and stay away from the drooling blamtard, or boot him ASAP. (And then, if it's particularly egregious, file Feedback... and maybe take other measures, ones not generally available, mweheheheh...)

I have TKed before by accident, either by twitch reflex or lobbing HE at "danger close" ranges and not quite getting the range right, and I apologise immediately for those. I don't apologise though when Rocket Ranger steps in front of me when I'm laying down suppressive fire with a heavy weapon.

if it's a new game, and all your friends suck at it, and it's on something local (e.g. the cs server won't boot you), you've got every excuse for an 'accidental' tk.
but i must say.. i have been known to tk on halo because of major n00bage

certain FPS's with me have differnt reasons:

Red Orchestra - you're so far away everyone looks hostile, better safe than sorry. OR, motivation. What? I'm a russian squad commander my only weapon is a pistol, YOU THINK IT'S MEANT FOR NAZIS??

Battefield 2 - My team is playing like shit, I punish them. The Other team is 'team stacking' by purposefully putting all the more experienced players on there, I join their team quickly and wreak havoc. AND, just to piss some ppl off cause they brag about their K?D ratio, take the bitches down a notch or two.

Team Fortress 2 - IF for some god forsaken reason FF is on, then I'm sorry, I'm just so used to Spy checking.

When I have a really really big gun, I don't give a fuck what team your on. I'm gonna kill everyone :D

if you represent a soviet force, its like the law to do a little tk-ing

when extreme long range sniping on bad company, you have to have a target directly in your sites for ages before it tells you it's a friendly or not. it's especially hard when the targets moving because you have to aim several feet in front of them for the bullet to hit. so if I'm impatient I tend to get the odd one in a match.

My reasons:

1. You've acted alot like a jerk (by for example team killing or griefing) and you deserve to be team killed in return so that we won't have to deal with you.

2. You're a stupid Admin who's giving himself unfair powers (in a game of skill, where killcount and the likes matter) such as exclusive guns, extra HP, resurrections and the likes.

3. You're trolling players by insulting them, spamming or generally being a fucktard in the voicechat or textchat.

2 reasons,

2. Killing clan members is fun, no denying it

I only team kill when that person teamkilled me more than once.

whoever said anything about excuses? My only goal in life is to backstab and teamkill. I don't need excuses for that.

i usualy say OMG MAN IM SO SORRY I DIDNT SEE YOU if they come from like a behind a corner. but if i for example throw a grenade and someone runs into it i say dude stay behind the yellow line!

Ok. I have teamkilled. I can't help it. It's funny. BUT I only do it to my friends, while we're chatting too, so I can say, "WHOOPS SORRY MAN!" Which usually leads to the objective being forgotten while we turn it into a hilarious death match...

I've done it a few times on accident, like a grenade bounced off the wrong wall, or the idiot ran into my line of fire. Only once did I systematically hunt and kill a member of my team, but he'd just fragged the other three members, who were pissed, so I thought that some justice was in order.

That's true I once accidently got a team kill when I switched from play Resistance Fall of Man to COD4. In resistance you use L2 to sprint and I accidently lobbed a flash grenade between a teammates toes at the start of the match trying to run.

It's usually an accident.

Either someone ran through my MG spray or I dropped a dead 'nade. Very occasionally a case of mistaken identity.

The other excuse is:
It's my server and you're being a dick, don't try to out-dick the admins!

Either you shot me and I'm more than happy to return the favor; you yelled some sort of offensive slur at me, or I really, really want to get booted (halo 3 only lol)
