Press Junketeer Posts: 473 Joined: 8 Oct 2007 | Okay, has text now, that's fine. I either throw them into Combine energy beams or make them dance around with rockets, grenades, and bullets if I don't have the super gravity gun (as you can tell, Half-Life 2 is the only game I've been playing recently that doesn't have disappearing bodies). |
Paperboy Posts: 48 Joined: 10 Oct 2008 | For games like Oblivion it depends. I like to make a small ritual of, if I find a dead Imperial Legionaire on the road, dragging his body to the side of the road, straighten him out, place his shield and sword by him and taking his horse to the Imperial City. For villans/enemies I like to bounce them about with fireballs or lightning bolts. Having only played an hour of the first Splinter Cell I can honestly say that I usually knock them over and toss them somewhere or get caught, cuss and uninstall the game because it bored me. Do I sound like a sore loser? Oh, well. XD |

This would drop the body throught the wall, leaving only a small corner of him still visible. good times. |

Otherwise I just leave them where they fall. I've more important priorities then making sure the bodies are laid out nice and neatly. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 817 Joined: 2 Jul 2008 | Well, that all depends on the sex of the corpse. ... Oh, right, video games. Pretty much the same answer. With stealth games I rarely hide bodies - the concept never made sense to me, as the paths are always linear, therefore, providing you clear out areas methodically, everyone is either unconscious or dead. I did in MGS4 as the areas were much more open, but I did so sloppily. |

Beat Writer Posts: 140 Joined: 2 May 2008 | Well in World of Warcraft usually dead bodies are eated by Undead and in CoD4 I usually blow them up so there would be no traces as also with TF2. However in Half-Life 2 I prefer a tastier burning my foes and sending them into an energy beam thus disintegrating them into nothingness. Ah fun times... |

Infamous Scribbler Posts: 584 Joined: 10 Apr 2008 | I um, hmm, I either sneak by without killing everyone or i put them in bushes, or I just drag them back to the start of the level, or to a place that i know is clear. This is why metal gear solid rocks - always a locked somewhere. |

BANNED Posts: 354 Joined: 21 May 2008 | If corpses were easier to drag in Oblivion, I'd probably hide them because guards seem to automatically find you whenever they see a corpse. What we need is a cross between the Assassin's Creed guard AI and Oblivion's, so hiding corpses is easier and means something. /save game User was banned for: Favorite Easter Egg?. (30 days) |

It's still creepy, even with text. I usually try to straighten them out so they look more realistic, because Oblivion's ragdoll system is really wonky. In HL2, I kneel over them and bash their faces repeatedly with the crowbar, hoping the mask will come off so I can find out what they look like. I do it with headcrabs too. Never really sure if they're dead, so better safe than sorry. If a zombie jumps me from behind, it usually receives a post-mortem beating as well as punishment. |

Job done, and you don't have to buy anything weird at the supermarket to give yourself away. What? Oh. I tend to leave the dead where they fall in games, as a warning to others of the fate that awaits them mere seconds into the future and give them a chance to get their affairs in order and/or make peace with their programmer. Even in more stealth-oriented games like Deus Ex I choose to let the bodies pile up rather than stash them. -Nick |
Press Junketeer Posts: 387 Joined: 9 Jul 2008 | In Splinter Cell I put all of the bodies in a pile. They stop to investigate every one, which makes it easier to grab them and either a) knock them out (SC and PT) or b) slit their throat (CT) |
Beat Writer Posts: 218 Joined: 11 Aug 2008 | In Stalker: clear sky I prefer dragging all the corpses of my fallen foes to the nearest base, then lining the outer walls with them. *sigh* good times. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 987 Joined: 9 Jul 2008 | Leave them where they fall and then take artistic pictures of their lifeless bodies. Problem is I have to keep them to myself, or else I end up having to move. |
Beat Writer Posts: 140 Joined: 13 Aug 2008 | MGS3: I tend to tranq and then stab. Force Unleashed: (obviously this is how i kill them but still) I tend to go with a subtle mix of clickly flicking the analog stick up or down for a nice mix of sending people flying up to their doom or crashing their face into the floor beneath them. Fable: I lightning their heads off, punt that at the crowd of near-by enemies and then stand there kicking the decapitated corpse until more squishies come to the slaughter. |

Kinda. I useally... What do I useally do again? I mostly play RTS so... Ah yeah right i don't know if this counts but I realy like to set upp killzones in RTS for the AI to stumble into, LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR ^^. Combine that with swarm mods and you have a show, Prefferably a bloddy rts with lots of presistent bodies. |

I'm playin splinter cell at the moment and have just noticed that i have filled a toilet cubicle with dead or unconsciousness bodies.
Wonder what the most popular method of what to do with dead bodies?
Eg, - find a good hiding spot
- Dump them in a corner
- Leave them
- you sneak past guards, never attack
whats your method?
