In the second of my oxymoronic threads, what is the least funny comedy TV show/movie you've ever watched?

Edit: mine are superhero/epic movie. I will never watch one of those again.

Now, to use the search bar... Oh look! No results! Lucky me. I wonder how many people will be wasting their time trying to prove me wrong though...

Stuart Lee's Comedy Vehicle.

Oh god, I want that half an hour of my life back so bad. I could have spent it doing something oh so much more productive.

ANYTHING with Ricky Gervais in which he isn't killed (to this end, Stardust is exempt).

The entire "________ Movie" series as well as Meet the Spartans. I know a couple others but those are way worse than the rest of my list.

That godawful eminem cartoon. I was forced to watch an entire season, it's pretty much southpark if southpark was exclusively dick and shit jokes.

Hmm, I didnt like The Tenenbaums. Apparently it was funny, but I didnt see it... there were some funny jokes but not enough to class it as a comedy... maybe just a drama.

Anything Dane Cook, he started off ok then went right down hill after that.

The Sarah Silverman Program.
The woman is not funny. All she's managed to do is provide yet another television character for me to hate, which is not in itself an achievement.

Which season? Cos' I didnt like the 3rd one, and I went to see them live... I could have sold that ticket for £150! I regret not selling it, and I probably will for my entire life. D:

There was a (thankfully very short) series on BBC 3 called Clone, which was the weakest comedy I have ever seen.

Horne and Corden. Their idea of comedy was the fat guy stripping multiple times for different sketches. You think, hey, this could be funny... oh no wait, there goes his shirt again... ew.

The only really funny joke, if you can even call it that.. Is the B&E joke. It struck me somewhere and I was having trouble stopping laughing.

Harold and Kumar go to Guantanamo...or whatever the hell it's called. I watched the first half hour, and after nothing but pure disgust, a little bit of anger, and not even a chuckle, I shut it off. I would have snapped it in half, but fortunately it wasn't my movie. O__O

It's a tie between Napoleon Dynamite and Superbad. Both of those were incredibly popular, and Superbad was described as one of the best comedies in years. I didn't find them funny at all. Napoleon Dynamite was just clumsy and odd; it seemed like it was trying very hard to be funny but not succeeding. Superbad, on the other hand, clearly subscribes to the school of thought which states that the key to comedy gold is to swear with every other word. You need more than swear words and sex jokes to make a good comedy.

Absolutely this. I don't know what it is, but I simply can't find the man funny. Everyone thinks I'm crazy when I tell then I don't like The Office, but I just find his style of humour cringy and awkward. I realise that was the intention, but I simply don't find him funny.

Agent Larkin:
The Merchant of Venice.

If you see it with a good cast, you would be amazed at how funny it can be. It helps if men are playing the female characters, as would originally have been done: it makes all the jokes about them disguising themselves as men all the funnier. Honestly, it can be extremely funny.

Two suggestions: 1) Disaster Movie. Words cannot describe how much of a piece of **** this is.
2) Anything involving Ben Stiller.

I have an immense person hate for Will Farrell. Much like Dane Cook, it's the shouty annoying kind of "humor".

anything by shakespear, the standard shakespeare joke is something to the effect of
"sir, you do grace with your fine countenance"
"madam, i would "count" you lucky too! But your flattery is most ap'reciated"
"sir, were i to flatter you, you would be quite unable to appreciate it; having recently been flattered"
what?! stop laughing, that wasn't funny. That wasn't even a joke it was a poor pun.

Does the Sex and the City movie count as "comedy"? If so, that.

I WANT MY TWO AND A HALF HOURS BACK, PLEASE. Worst thing I've ever seen, and that really is saying something. Shallow, heartless, and Sarah Jessica Parker looks like a horse. Awful.

Was Gigli a comedy? If so, that wins the award
If not, I'd have to hand it over to the latest movie (And any future attempts by them) by the "Guys who did SCARY MOVIE!". You know, the two jagoffs that keep making terrible, terrible movies.

Meet the Spartans, Superhero movie (Almost but not quite saved by Leslie Neilson), Disaster movie... Really, the list is infinitesimal.

I agree totally. I just do not understand the appeal. I guess I am not "hip" enough.

Ive only seen about 5 funny movies (no I cant list them).
TV and books are far better at humour- imagine a film of 'the far side' or fawlty towers. Movies rarly work for humor
