There are probably movies and TV shows out there that I find less funny, but Monty Python is one of those things that everyone seems to like except me. I mean, "Knights Who Say, 'Ni'"? How is shit like that funny or clever on any level?

See, I've gone the opposite way. I used to faackin' hate it. The hype that surrounded it, the sad's who waited with baited breath to get the clap (ArF!) It just pissed me off.
Now I find myself watching it every night. Jennifer Aniston is a great comedy actress, it's just her RL seems to be all up in the media these days. But with all her whining about Brad Pitt, she did herself no favours.

Ive only seen about 5 funny movies (no I cant list them).
TV and books are far better at humour- imagine a film of 'the far side' or fawlty towers. Movies rarly work for humor

If you can't find anything, I'd recommend Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead (in that order - Hot Fuzz is quite a bit better, SOTD is still awesome though), as they are not American, use barely any sex references, and completely OWN.

Fuck Will Ferrell. He's not funny, and his acting isn't anything special either. I can't figure out what his appeal is (maybe because he was funny on SNL?).

OT, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (with Will Ferrell, incidentally) was easily the worst attempt at a comedy. On top of that, I heard from many people I know how "funny" or "hilarious" it was, only to waste 10 bucks to see an atrociously mediocre (at best) film that seemed like it took about 3 days to write.
